For clarification from the novel: The guy who said that the girl(Zesshi) can beat Shalltear took into consideration that Zesshi wouldn't be fighting alone. In a 1v1, he actually doesn't think Zesshi can beat Shalltear. From the novel itself: “Between that vampire and me, who do you think is stronger?” He replied to the question he was expecting with a prepared answer. “Of course it’s you.” “Is that so…” She seemed to lost interest and stared at the toy again. He sighed in relief. “What a pity, I thought I had a chance to taste defeat.” As he listened to the mumble of the girl, he wondered: Who would win if the two of them really fought? He fought the girl and the vampire before. While the vampire felt stronger, there was no way the vampire could win against ‘Certain Death’. Their equipment was on a different scale. That vampire seemed to be unarmed, which was the weak point of powerful monsters. They were too confident of their strength, so they don’t wear powerful gear. On the other hand, the girl was equipped with the relics of the Six Gods, so he judged her to be stronger. What if both sides had equipment of the same level? Impossible. He dismissed the question immediately. It was impossible to find and obtain equipment that could rival the girl’s godly equipment. But what if the vampire found it? In that case… Maybe the strongest undefeated special seat of the Slaine Theocracy would know failure. And it would be the time to despair with the defeat of the guardian of mankind. No, why does he need to assume the girl will fight alone? He wasn’t at her level, but he was an awakened ‘God-kin’ and had many items at their disposal. If they use these items, they could defeat that vampire if there was only one. There was no way for so many undead that strong to exist.

The godkin is around level 70-75. ALBEDO can't read minds but she's a super genius who is good at politics and diplomatic affairs. So she can understand people's thoughts

The two at the beginning were the Captain of the Black Scripture and Zesshi. The Six Great Gods were Players that created the Theocracy. And they're all dead. The dragon is the Platinum Dragon Lord. The old woman, Rigrit and PDL have allied with Players in the past, but they don't know what Yggdrasil is. They think it's another world and that Players are aliens of some kind. PDL first introduced himself to Rigrit while using his armor. She thought a man was inside but it works by remote control. PDL does not leave the location he is in and used the armor to interact with others, but wasn't honest about his identity.

It's a time, for history lesson. It gonna be a long one, and there are minor spoilers on the way, but nothing that is in anime anyway. To clear things off. The girl with rubic cube, and the guy from the same scene are confirmed demigods. She is belived to be the strongest one that ever was. More on that much later. The Dragon and old lady scene. The dragon is a Platinum Dragon Lord. The strongest of his kind, one of the last remaining "pre-yggdrasil" Dragon Lord. Disguised as his animated armor he was one of 13 heroes, together with the old lady, 200 years ago. And with that out of the way, our story begins. Over 800 years ago Dragon Emperor (Platinums Father), the strongest bullshit ever discovered other realm of existance (Yggdrasil), and in it 200 extreamly powerfull items (yes, World Class Items), and he instantly to the edge of madness desired that power. He aslo knew that he don't have much time, cuz the world is abaut to die (servers closing=it stop exist, simple?). So in attempt to get this awesome power he preformed the biggest Wild Magic ritual in history, sacryficing bilions of souls to bridge dimencions and take World Class Items for himself. Something went extreamly wrong tho (most likely, cuz power he gathered, what was enough to oblitarate everything, was still much too weak to do the job, or beacuse Yggdrasil was just a game, and to make part of it into reality was unimagineably more complicated...when you don't even know what are you doing). In the process few things happend. 1) Wild Magic got corrupted in some way 2) They fucked up time, so next parts keep spawning every 200/100 years (its not consistant, my head canon is every 200 there were "big" stuff, and in between single item and some mobs) 3) Items got scatered all over New World 4) During "teleportation" they grabbed everything around them. They holders, other players, even entire guild bases 5) Now real World Class Items, and everyone holding them are 100% immune to Wild Magic. For 200 years nothing interesting happend. Then 600 years ago just outside one of the last Human vilages 6 beings of outstanding might appeared. They were Yggdrasil players, known today as "6 great Gods". They had 3 World Items with them, 2 of witch were "of the 20" one-use, absolutly broken bullshits. Using both of them they enabled all game systems from Yggdrasil to work in New World, making them even more powerfull, and made "auto-translation" so everyone hear their own language (something like in the Bible. Speaker speaks in his language, but you hear your own. Don't work on writing tho). The third item was "Downfall of Castle and Country" (yeap, the "mind controll dress"). [According to legends] They in very short time period made humans from almost extinct to dominate force in the region...and then died of old age. To be more precise 5 of them, cuz "God of Death" Surshana, was undead, therefore he was imortal. The shadow of their glory is now the Slane Theocracy, and there 3 known "familys" of Demigods. How exacly they power-scaling works, we have no idea, but they have blood of 6 Gods in their veins, and are radicoulously overpowered in New World standards. 200 years later=400 years ago another "big invasion" happend. The most teryfaing so far. In the middle of the desert, a floating city appeared. It was fully operacional Guild Base, with all its treasures, NPCs, items, and most importantly 8 PLAYERS, know today as "8 Greedy Kings". They quickly dominated the region, and in few years conquered "everything on the map". In the process they found Surshana, and killed him (according to official story at least, it might not be true). After dominating all lesser races they turned their blades on "invincible" Dragon Lords. It was a slother. All meaningfull Dragons got killed, only 6 "powerfull" survived, and all the cowards who hide somewhere from their wrath. Their empire havent lasted for long tho. [According to official history] They were blinded by wealth, and power, and started a civil war. (It is thorized, that Theocracy, as an act of revenge for killing their last God, lured one king out, Mind Controlled him, and thats how war started). At the very end only 1 king survived. Exhausted after battle looking at the horizont...6 remaning Dragon Lords appeared, Platinum at their lead. 5 of them fell in battle, but at the end Platinum was able to kill last king, and claimed former Guild Base as his new lair. Another 200 years passed wihout anything too interesting. And now. 200 years ago we are in era of a Great War. Another Yggdrasil invasion wave appeared, this time 2 at once accualy. The war devastated everything. Almost all countrys fell to ruin. On the one side we had "Demon Gods/Evil Spiryts"...they have many names...most likely guild base, with similar theme to Nazarick (more demonic tho), but wihout any player, so NPCs played their role of demons, who want to destroy everything. On the other side, there were "combined forces, of fucking everything" known today simply as "13 heroes" cuz 13 of them were "super outstanding". At least 2 of them were confirmed Yggdrasil players. Their leader started as the weakest, and ended as the strongest of them all (he was underleveled in the time of teleporting). Other known members are Platinum Dragon Lord's armor, and this old lady. Noone knows what exacly happend, but during the war "leader" had to murder his friend, the other player, and when he was later backstabed by Platinum Dragon Lord, he revused resurection, cuz of guilt of killing his friend. Around this time "Vampire princess ot the lost country" sidestory takes place. It's alternate timeline, but everything happening in the background, and before ainz gets to new world in it is canon in main story aswell. Then something happend 100 years ago, but only God know what, and "today" we have Nazarick. There are at least 2 confirmed players "in the history", but they haven't done anything interesting, for overall plot, and are almost for sure dead waaaaay before Nazarick. And thats oversimplified story of everything before. I'm telling it now cuz of Platinum Dragon Lord, first, and only aperance (he will take his part much much much later, s4 meby even s5). Now some less official info, so beware of spoilers cuz they may be ahead. Platinum Dragon Lord, sees everything of Yggdrasil orygin as corruption, and want it gone at any cost. He learned his lesson tho, and know in open fight even he have no chance of succes vs entire army of Yggdrasil beings, so since "13 heroes era" he "use Yggdrasil to destroy Yggdrasil" and then backstab whoever wins so there is no more Yggdrasil shit in his world. It is theorized, that he was the one who killed Surshana, back in the day, and blamed his death on 8 kings, in order to make "the MC plot happend". It is certain he killed leader of 13 heroes beacuse quote "he grew very powerfull, very quickly, and was close to being stronger than Platinums real body". And this quick exhange of blows between him and shaltear. It is unclear was he allied with Black Scripture, or just happend to see they they got their asses kicked by solo vampire who is super weakend by "partial Mind Control". The duel ended in a draw, to be more precise. He was uncertain can he win as his armor. Don't wanted to go himself. And knew long fight would atrackt to much attention (he was right, Ainz was on the way anyway), so he teleported the shit out of there. And thats pretty much it. Now I go eat my breakfast, cuz it had been 2 FUCKING HOURS! Geeez I'm insane

You dont see Ainz summon undead armies because they are beneath him. When he needs an army he summons monstrosities.

The girl is a descendant of the players that came to the world before Ainz. So is the warrior guy who was talking to her. They’re godkin people who are far above anyone else in that world. Maybe not Ainz level but 70’s maybe 80’s or 90’s but we’re not sure yet.

Okay as much as I love insane speculation sometimes I gotta step in and tell you what you're forgetting. It's been explained just having a World Item on you exempts you to be target of other W Items. Ainz took out enough W Items out of the treasuty for each guardian (except Sebas as he's still the bait). The W Item mind control is not a concern but other secret powers or very powerful individuals.

The two in the beginning are what’s called “God-kin” powerful people descended from the 6 Great Gods of the Theocracy who were in fact player’s like Ainz but they arrived in the new world hundreds of years before. They brought not only their equipment but concepts, ideas from their (our world) such as the Rubix cube. Love your videos. Need to check out Isekai Quartet.

the dragon dude is a different guy from touch me (the guy is a mantis with spikes all over the body, hence his nickname :D because nobody could touch him with out getting hurt :P), and touch me was a monster, there fore he can't become a dragon. also the armor was different than touch me, and also the dragon dude can control the suit with his mind... that is how he attends the council meetings, because he can't go into a room full of people looking like a dragon :P . hope this helps, and sorry for the spoilers.

The dragon knight dude that you saw fight Shalltear was actually in a recap movie that was release before Overlord season 2 came out, it showed alot of things from the light novel that wasnt in the anime before inlcuding a brief look on Ainz in the "Old" real world.

Shalltear can't be drunk, so the bartender use water with some color and trick her. That bar is the favorite place for demiurge and cocytus, they are drinking friend. Beside bar, floor 9th also have spa, shop, hall,restroom,.... Platium dragon lord thinks he can beat shalltear, but he only 80+, that makes a terible mistake in the future

Demo gods, the 13 heroes, greed kings, and the great gods, we're players who came before AINZ but they aged and died. But AINZ is inhuman so he won't age and die.

Just a little clarification, the guy talking to the rubix cube girl only ‘fought’ shalltear without her battle gear so he was fairly certain she could beat shalltear as long as she had the relics from the six great gods but if shalltear had equipment other than her dress he had no idea who would win

It's not clarified clearly in the anime but Shaltear is known to be dead by the world by the adveturer Momon and Nabe plus they think her name is Honyopenyoko. That's how he became an adamatite adventurer. The only people in the world that know of Ainz Ooal Gown are the people in Carne Village and the Theocracy plus Nipheria (pharmasist) so as far as the world knows Momon is very well known and only certain people ever heard of Ainz Ooal Gown.

The ring is made from wild magic. It can give five extra level to any warriors. If cocitus use it his level will be 100- 105. Its extremely powerful

So just to clarify because there not going to say this in the animé, Rubik’s cube belonged to one of the gods that created the Slane Theocracy, they left there items as well along with there armors and equipment which is why Slane Theocracy is so powerful compared to the trash around the other kingdoms lol. The dragons are native to this world they have what is called wild magic which is what was imbued into the ring that he gave to the old lady, which she gave to Gazef. The Platinum Dragon Lord AKA Tsá fought Shalltear before Ainz went to go fight her while she was under the World Items control effect but he ran away and she didn’t chase him, not sure if you remember the fight with Ainz there was a part where Shalltear tells Ainz why don’t you run away? Because he had said he was at a disadvantage fighting her, she was only fighting because she was attacked just like NPC’s in a game she still follows those rules here but she will not chase if they run away it’s like she has a certain aggro point where she turns around and stays at the place she was taken over. By the way Tsá can control the dragon armor with his wild magic that’s how he fought Shalltear, but he is the only dragon so far that is known to have killed a player before and as you saw he knows about Yggdrasil and guild weapons which as Ainz-sama said rival World Items yet are not that powerful, soo that tells ya how powerful The Staff Of Ainz Ooal Gown is.

i'm rewatching your reactions, and thought i give a fun fact :the watch aura wearing was voiced by her maker, bukabuka does voice acting and adult VA, what was skip over was that hidden on that watch at certain alarm times have hentai content and azin orders her never to set those times lol.

The six gods of theocracy are players, 5 humans and one overlord. See explanation in episode11 s1. They died, leqving the overlord behind. Comes in another batch of players, the 8 greed kings. They killed the overlord and reigned supreme over the NW wiping the dragon lords even. But because of internal strife, they killed each other. One more thing I gathered from other people's discussion is that one of their players is a girl, take that however you will. So Platdraglord killed a wounded weak player and laid claim over their guild base and items, that why he knew about the world class items and guild item.

Season 2 is really good. Has one of my favorite scenes. But then again every season of Overlord has been good so far.

That fucking dragon is platinum dragon lord, only dragon to ever kill a player. That suit of armor is just that. But he remote controls it. The vision of shalltear getting beaten, someone can explain thay better, but there is a spin off where they fought Off and this scene didn't really happen.

First of all there will be no followup (in the anime ) on the characters introduced in the beginning of this episode. Also, according to canon, the girl with the Rubics cube (zesshi zetsumei) is not actaully as strong as shalltear, zesshi would be around lvl 90, while ShallCHAIR (you will understand later) is lvl 100. In Overlord a lvl difference of 5 lvls means the weaker one will be massacred. Both Shalltear and Zesshi are so strong that the first seat of the black scripture (the guy saying to zesshi she's stronger) can't judge their strength.

you two kinda hit on some points on the new characters introduced the first scene of Extra Seat and First Seat is an intermission of Volume 4 where these 2 "godkin" talk about the movings of the Theocracy special forces basically Kaire (old lady in dragon dress) and Cedran (shield guy) were killed along with another called Beaumarchais when encountering some mysterious vampire (Shalltear) it is heavily implied that First Seat 'thinks' that Extra Seat is stronger but it is entirely left to speculation... and an overestimation by the former also these "godkin" are descendants of the Six Great Gods, heavily implied to be former YGG players that landed in this NW about 600 years prior to the start of season 1 episode 1 the second scene is the intermission of Volume 7 which shows Rigrit, a former member of the 13 Heroes, meet up with the Platinum Dragon Lord note: the dragon lords were basically the apex of this NW pre-Advent which is when the players of YGGDRASIL began porting into this world in 100 year cycles the flashback scene of the floaty armor with Shalltear is actually a reference to what was shown in the movie sequence in the season 1 adaptation, the chain of events with Ainz locating Shalltear and encountering her post mind control played out differently in the LN see in the books - it was a bit of a mystery that wasn't solved until that Vol.7 intermission of who encountered Shalltear in the downtime of when she got mind controlled by Black Scripture to when Ainz finds her later in the volume all decked out in her armor so readers learn it was this Platinum Dragon Lord who had a brief fight with her while tailing Black Scripture around with his remote armor but to give a slight spoiler: season 2 of Overlord adapts Volumes 4, 5, and 6 Platinum Dragon Lord makes a reappearance in Volume 14 Zesshi or the Extra Seat of the Black Scripture is the title character of Volume 15 so much of what you talk about in this video is still speculatory to even book readers (lol) but one thing readers do know for certain is the reason for the Advents of this NW - aka players being transported - in who was the cause and what its connection was to the YGGDRASIL game world (spoiler though)

The lady playing Rubik's cube is Zessi one of the strongest in the new world she is a GODKIN, GODKIN are the people who have blood of players so they can level up easy and get many more perks, Zessi can't beat shalltear, zessi level is between 60-65 also platinum dragon lord is the strongest in the new world his LV is between 85-90, so none of them can beat any floor gaurdian and RUBEDO is the strongest in nazarick, Rubedo can beat all 41 guild members in 1v1 combat

You're right he didn't 'necromance' once, he did it 3 times lol. Death Knight in 3rd episode, Jack the Ripper and Corpse Collector in like ep9-ish. He didn't summon an army against Shalltear cause she would just lifesteal off of all the weak enemies and sustain herself. Sheer numbers can't overcome an opponent like that. Its a shame nobody told you to skip the Season 2 intro, cause it is pretty spoilery.

just my own speculation about the dragon thing... i think he is a dragonoid or something! and like the lady he was talking to with said, that he cannot transform back to his HUMAN form anymore bc he already transformed into a dragon ... i think he is like from an another race, he is not human! and its a skill that he can transform into a dragon... and fighting shaltear! he needed to become a dragon to win... if he is a player or just another man whos from another race in this world ... idk yet ... but im pretty sure that he is a HUMAN before he fought shaltear ... in this world.. MMORPG races are real, we have undeads, humans, goblins, trolls, beasts, orge, dragons, elves, ... that i know!

Yeah the warrior from the black scripture who shaltear said is strong is above solution at the very least so at a minimum he’s in the 60’s for levels if not higher, and the elf girl is far stronger than him so someone who might actually be a threat if they prepared well
