We did. It was a bummer. We went the first week of October. I can’t remember the name of the lobster place we ate at in bar harbor but it was right at the port and everybody kept saying it was the best one. Their lobster bisque was amazing too. If I can track down the name of the restaurant, I’ll reply back here!

Lots of lobster and seafood dishes in the Maritime provinces of Canada...a seafood lovers haven! The leaves change here starting in October usually, but the climate is warming so the birch and maple trees seem to be holding their leaf colours longer than they did in the past.
Thank you for the great video. We are going on NCL Breakaway on Sept 1st this year to all the same ports but Newport. Everything looks wonderful. Can you tell me what excursions you went on? I have to choose soon and wanted to know the names to the ones you went on to compare.

@@jackiejames-x5p I really enjoyed the excursion overall. Peggy's cove is an hour drive or so away so it was longer than expected to get there but it is absolutely beautiful and well worth the trip. You get an hour at peggy's cove with the excursion I went on. I loved that trip in general, my only complaint was that is was very crowded. I think that is to be expected though. Well worth it. There also is a museum in halifax there by the port that has Titantic artifacts and that was great too.

Thank you! It was a beautiful city. I didn’t purchase anything there so I’m unsure of a side by side price comparison, but I can tell you the houses and lifestyle are much nicer 😂❤
Well I can’t tell the leaves to change lol we went the first week of October which should be peaked. Had some fall foliage but it wasn’t peaked yet because of the weather. Still a great cruise
