Dude, great demo...covered everything I needed to know. Other videos just go showing off what they can play. I always wanted a white SG. I'm looking into that Muse.
Hell yeah! I don't usually go for the gold, it's too much usually, but this one is great. Ended up keeping it too, in spite of the flaw I mentioned. Its just so fun to play.
@@DUDESTUNESANDBREWS .. thanks ..Cool I have Black Custom Pro and Gold Top standard stock pick ups replaced with some vintage 1970’s Ibanez humbuckers , I am sold on Epiphones they play and sound as good any the Gibsons I have owned had to sell to play bills .. haha .. replacing with Epi’s ..
Hi!! Great review!!! I was wondering if you would recommend a epiphone sg muse to me? I’m still new to playing guitar I’ve been playing for 3 months and I play a cheap guitar and was looking for an upgrade around the $500 area. My options were either this or an epiphone Les Paul. What would you recommend me? Thank you!!!!
hi man, do you think this guitar is of the same quality as the epiphone sg standard? I'm going to buy a new sg and I'm between the epiphone muse and the standard
It’s kinda a let down that you received that guitar from Sweetwater, especially since they advertise that 55 point inspection....btw i have the Radio Blue Les Paul and I’m very satisfied with the Muse
Agree, and this one was inspected TWICE, to boot! But I ended up keeping it. Worked out a deal in my favor that was pretty decent. I wanted the red les paul muse, but already have 2 custom pros and couldn't justify another LP.
This Muse has the Alnico. My Custom Pro LPS both have ProBuckers. There is definitely a difference. The Probuckers are hotter IMO, they really sing. The Alnico have their own sound. I find i play on the neck pickup on the Muse a lot more, its got a great tone. The bridge on the Muse seems a little thin to my ear than the Probucker. But, the Alnicos are a fine pick up for this mid price guitar. The Pros are in the higher price Epiphones. I like them both. I don't plan on changing them anytime soon.
I wasn't using a pedal at this point. That's just the built in Gain channel of my Orange Crush 60 with some reverb. Orange has some nice dirt channels.
