In this update we look at each stand and a look at whats going on on the lower roof. We also look at ground work both ends of the stadium as well as a full fly around. also we take a close look at the roof mainly on the south stand and a look at the pitch preparation so far.

Incredible Paul, you get better with every video. As you moved slowly over the south roof I was struck by how large it is and how many PV panels will be installed. The barrel cladding is a thing of beauty with the curves and stripes on it. Congratulations on your tour, you fully deserved it. As a neutral fan can I ask you what impressed you or didn't?

Great, Paul. I particularly enjoyed the slow, low flight over the South Roof as you can really appreciate it's extent. I think you had another off day with your caption texts (sorry for highlighting it). At 23:00 mins, South should be West. At 31:39 mins there's an "h" missing in "were". I look forward to your next full flight in a week, if you're not away.

What will be the width of the water channel in front of the steps is it the same width as the concrete floor slab in front of the piled wall, what will form the opposite side of the channel to allow the water to run through? Will it be a straight line?

Not sure on sizes but it will be around the same width as the canal if that’s any help.

Hi: the East Side of the future Water Channel will be as you see now with, in N-to-S order, an old Dock Gate just south of the Northern Isolation Bridge (currently hard to see due to a temporary sand track), followed by a curved stretch of the old Dock Wall, which can be seen, then the new Seacant Wall, followed by the southern curved old Dock wall and finally an other old Dock Gate, which you can see here at 21:21 mins (visually in line behind the large protruding vertical black pipe with a blue inside). The West side of the future Water Channel will be the old Dock West Quay, which comprises in a S-to-N direction and starting from roughly the West end of the Southern Isolation Bridge, 1) an opposing Old Dock Gate lined S-to-N before the old Dock Wall then takes a tight curved 90d turn left/westwards for before it turns right/northwards again at a tight inner curved 90d turn a short distance before the newly installed lighting columns and it then travels northwards, parallel to the lighting columns, past the DNOC (nick-named "Media Complex") and where the Pitch Lighting Trolleys will be parked when not in use, before it then turns an inner tight curve to the right/eastwards and then turning left/northwards again roughly in line with the west end of the northern Isolation Bridge, and then another opposite Old Dock Gate before reaching roughly the the west end of the northern Isolation Bridge. You can follow this West Quay dockside if you look closely for the old dock wall Granite Coping Stones on top of it. The water Channel in essence is cosmetic and for the Heritage Stakeholders souls. It'll provide 'ambience'. It will not be navigable. The old dock was cut off from Nelson Dock by the southern Isolation Bridge and that will remain so. It will be 'connected' to Sandon Dock for water migration as an important aspect is that all groundwater and excess rainwater from the harvesting process will exit under the West plaza and you can actually see the outfall pipe in the middle top-ish of the Seacant wall. The pitch waste water will go eastwards, as it is deemed dirty due to phosphates and other pitch treatments that'll be applied.
