Challenge: Solve all WCA puzzles (including clock) in a row, but after every move (or clock button push), you must swap to the next cube/puzzle in the cycle until you solve all of them.

@link2thepresnt
@link2thepresnt Год назад
Hi! I’m curious, do you think that it could be advantageous to not solve the cross immediately? Also, thank you for doing what you’re doing. You are the reason I started my channel.
@JPerm
@JPerm Год назад
It's rarely better to solve the cross later. For example you may solve an F2L pair in between solving the cross (which is an x-cross). My general rule is your inspection planning must solve the cross. If you want to do other things as well that's fine, but you must have planned all the way until the cross gets solved.
@meable3763
@meable3763 Год назад
I find sometimes that putting in two cross pieces swapped opposite each other gives me some extremely easy f2l cases, and i can solve the flipped edges by doing M2 U2 M2 any time during OLL or make a better case in PLL, but I think that this is bad practice
@mdv9831
@mdv9831 Год назад
Depends on how advanced you are. If your asking the question you should most likely solve it immediately. But if your at a super high level with godly lookahead you can afford to not finish the cross immediately. Tymon Kolasinski for example does an x cross like 80% of the time wherein he doesn't finish the cross immediately

Hey Dylan! I have a VERY hard challenge for you. The challenge is to solve the 3x3 Rubik's cube with CFOP method using only the 21 PLL algorithms. (Now I know what you're thinking, you've done it with JUST jperm's before,so this isn't hard at all but refer to rule 2 for that) And sorry for how long the comment is, but pls read to the end, I promise it's a very fun challenge, took me 2 hours to do it. Rules: 1) You must use only the 21 PLL algorithms to solve the cube and each step of CFOP must be done using only those 2)You cannot replicate a U move on a face like you did for for "only JPerms" cube solve So if you wanted to insert an F2L pair you have to move those two specific pieces to the correct spot and can't replicate R U' R'. Same for OLL, you have to find a way to twist/flip the corners and edges with only PLL algs. 3)Cube rotations are allowed 4)You cannot do any setup outer turns/slice moves and then execute a PLL. Only PLL's and cube rotations 5)No parity algs allowed And if you want to, you can do the same with roux method, though I don't know how easy/hard that will be. And sorry for the ridiculously long comment, I just wanted the rules to be clear. Have fun!🙂
