Yes I think he went up stairs to the 3rd floor and killed those 2 girls first. The dog barking, etc had Xana come out of her bedroom to investigate. Probably why she was on Tik Tok app at 4:12 AM. Bryan probably confronted her when leaving and took her out. Then went to Ethan. As leaving he confronted Xana again then left.

I don’t think DM was frozen in shock, but probably convinced herself that the killer was a guest of someone in the house that she didn’t know. lt probably never crossed her mind that her roommates had just been murdered. Although an unusual occurrence, it might not have been the first time she encountered someone in the house she didn’t know. She simply went back to bed not understanding what we all know now. In hindsight she understands what/who she saw but didn’t put it together at the time.

1. She didn’t move, she just switched rooms. 2. There are no masks needed anymore. 3. She knew something wasn’t right, because she opened the door three times to check what was going on. 4. She heard thumps, cries, a barking dog. 5. She was “in a shock phase” per the official affidavit, so she was in shock. 6. She was afraid, that’s why she locked her room, right after seeing the killer. Single thing might explain something, but adding all other points, it paints suspicious picture. We’ll see at trial. She will be definitely called to the stand.

People seem to think DMs part of the affidavit explains every detail of her part that night. That affidavit was structured to arrest and hold BK. It was not about DM. The police would have spent hours interrogating her. Probably a few times. Possibly by more than just one agency. There's a few lines mentioned about her out of hours of interrogation. Kaylee's dad said about her when asked about the phone call, "That poor girl seen things no one should see". He knows more than any of us, and he is defending her, even though his daughter was brutally murdered. If someone is so cold hearted to not care what DM went through, that you can still attack her, that's only because there's a little bit of a monster in you.

@tooterooterville
@tooterooterville Год назад
Yeah, it was interesting why "pop" brought up some mass shooting right out of the blue. First of all, it wasn't actually a "mass" shooting but rather a single individual. The other possibility is to see if he and his son's car were under a similar suspicion by the cop by associating some other heinous criminal event to see the cop would respond. It stands to reason that the police stop was a pre-text by the FBI even though they denied it. Of course all police departments all over the country were all notified to BOLO a white Hyundai Elantra. That's how we know for certain the police stop was pre-arranged.

She saw him walk out, but that doesn't mean that she thought he left. She may have thought he was still around the house. Maybe so, but it could be that they first wanted to document the crime scene as it was left, if it gives any clues as to how and when each murder took place relative the others. It could also be that they're looking for any bit of blood that might actually place Bryan at the scene at the time of the murders, so that he doesn't use a defense such as, "I've been in that house regularly so my fingerprints will be there." How much prosecution can prove that the 12 previous visits Bryan made to the home were actually instances of stalking and not just visiting a friend in that house is beyond me, but any bit of blood they can find of his would help their case. We already know that he cleaned the crap out of his car after the crime so trying to find DNA of the victims in order to place him in the home during the murders might not be as certain as people had hoped. I assume Plan B is to go over every inch of that furniture now for _his_ blood.

Help would be there in moments. So you can't be not scared, go to sleep, or so scared and frozen she hid for 7 hrs and then called friends to come over. So what is weird is after murders, they reported she heard saw nothing. Now she saw the bushy eyebrows and went into room, did nothing until calling friends. I think the one gentleman is wrong. I think he killed Xana and Ethan in her bedroom first. I think he took them by surprise, then went upstairs and killed Maddie and Kaylee because DM's room is on the same floor as Xana's. The evidence says that she saw him walk down the steps, then he walked right towards her and left through the sliding glass doors. If he had killed the two girls on the third floor first and DM saw him come down the stairs and walk out the door, then Xana and Ethan would still be alive. That's why I think they were killed first. When it says that she opened the door, it probably was just a crack. I commented before that maybe she had left her phone downstairs or maybe even in her car. She probably was too afraid to move because how did she know that he wasn't still around the house watching for any other movement? They didn't get home until late. She probably curled up in her bed and fell asleep. Luckily DM must not have turned her light on or there would have been a very different outcome.

Now the reason why Brian didn't kill her is because he didn't use a gun, he used a knife and fought 4 people. @lornaduwn
@lornaduwn Год назад
All he had to do was incapacitate one then the other before making sure they were dead. With all of the planning he did, I am pretty sure that he studied how to take someone down quickly in a knife fight. I think the girls were taken out fairly quickly. I don't think he expected to see Ethan there as Ethan usually had gone home by about 2 due to fraternity rules about sleeping at the frat house. He would have known that due to stalking them. Ethan probably decided to break the rules as no one would notice due to the frat party. I also don't think he expected the dog to be there as it had been at Jack's mostly. I think that noise was made, especially from Xana's room. He probably was just so focused on getting out before getting caught that he didn't see Dylan peeking through the door. I think she saw the knife and probably blood on him and totally freaked. It would not be unusual for her to have her phone on a charger in another room or for her to leave it in a coat pocket or something. She may not have been able to call without leaving the room and she was probably terrified to do so. I have heard several stories of people who are in traumatic situations who hide and stay put until someone they trust comes for them. You hear about it all the time in mass shootings when even long after the shooting stops, even the cops have trouble convincing people it is safe to come out from hiding. She may have been cowering in her room until Bethany woke up.

I feel that way because it seems to give him a more logical amount of time to commit the murders. Imo the sound heard at 4 by dm where she said it sounded as if Kaylee was playing with her dog was maybe the murder of k & m ...then xana makes a statement that somebody's here is bk running into to xana & Ethan not realizing that she was still up on tiktok...& right after that dm opened her door heard faint crying & bk say it's OK I'm gonna help you ...he kills both of them then dm sees him walk from the direction of xanas room & down that Lil step that goes towards her but leads to the outside thru the kitchen. I think everyone is having such an issue with DM bcuz their making the assumption that her door is wide open with lights on & she's just standing there witnessing all this murder go on around her & she doesn't call 911 or do anything to help...& honestly the PCA didn't help but it's not it's job too...cuz it had to list info to get him arrested not exonerate dm. But I'm sure when we get the details that DM was in her room with her lights off behind darkness. & yea she saw him but he didn't see her...if u look at the vids showing the layout of the house & I think it's on Grey Hughes investigates channel where he shows what the pov line of sight would be for dm being inside her room with her door cracked...& i think if more people could see that they would understand how dm could yes see bk enough to be able to describe him but not to think that it was necessarily a killer ...I don't think she realized the significance of what she saw or heard until after the bodies were found & she had to rem every detail. It irritates me that more people aren't taking that more than likely scenario into consideration...cuz it makes perfect sense. & it answers why 911 wasn't called til later. Ima 45 yr old momma & gmomma ...& if I can come up with a more logical sequence of events that fits all the evidence we have heard & that makes sense...u can't tell me all these true crime reporters & channels can't do the same...makes me think they need a more questionable dramatic mindset for clicks & views & DM is paying dearly for their ignorance as many are making her a suspect & just dragging her thru the mud. Someone's DNA can be accidentally placed at the scene of a crime. It's actually happened. A homeless drug-addicted man was treated by EMT personnel, then some hours later the same personnel went and processed a murder crime scene, inadvertently contaminating the murder scene with the homeless man's DNA. It was a sharp-eyed cop who happened to be looking at the paperwork for both encounters and who noticed the names of the EMT personnel as being the same at both places. The cop was trying to figure out how the homeless man, who had been transported to the hospital and was in the hospital at the time of the murder, could have been at the murder scene. Not saying that happened in this Idaho case. Only that DNA evidence is not always a slam dunk and has to be handled and interpreted VERY carefully. At the time of the case mentioned, DNA technology was a lot newer and LE was not nearly as experienced handling it.

P.c. affidavit said he was wearing "ALL BLACK" so she probably didn't. His face was mostly covered with mask. It is a good question though, I was wondering also. With that much blood you'd think some would end up on his face somewhere. The room also could have been dimly lit, but she was able to see his face.....

I have a hard time believing that the removal of those items was evidence. Some of the items weren’t covered and things like a bloody mattress (which would be absolute soaked btw) wouldn’t be wrapped in a big loose bag and throw in the back of a pickup truck. My thoughts are that these are items from the survivors rooms that they are removing. They aren’t needed for the investigation and are in a process to start getting the house ready to return to the owner.

I hope they have a legion of applicants trying to move into the "house of death". And instead of the landlord being responsible for cleaning out the furniture, the local police department does the arrangements and picks up the tab? Sounds typical, but something wrong here also! John Wayne Gacy's home was completely demolished and put on the market as "unsaleable". But I guess the Idaho gang are all clammering to get to live inside the Moscow "House of Death" to experience the thrill of being there and happily haunted by the memory.

I now understand why DM would have fallen back to sleep till the next day and slept in late. By the sounds of it the house was still quite busy at 4am with Door dash deliveries and the dog which she thought was being played with and no doubt they are all used to having strangers in their house as is normal when you share board after all no one should have to ask permission to have friends over! As for the creep wearing the mask, it’s easy to assume that where doing the right thing with covid. I think DM locked her door, felt a bit safer once it was locked, thought everything is ok because no more noise and fell asleep, sounds pretty normal keeping in mind that this is a busy house with lots of young people that were all more than likely night owls, as most of us were at that age. RIP, precious beautiful souls 🙏🙏🙏 and to the two remaining housemates I wish you strength in your recovery 🙏🙏🙏.

My son works outdoors and cold winter days he wears these full face masks that only show the eyes. So understandably, it's cold there and men wearing these full masks to keep face warm would not have triggered an intruder, let alone a massacre. Being a home with so much activity all hours of the day, night morning etc.....having had 3 teenagers young kids would never jump to murder. They are , no offense, clueless to the cruel world. Especially if they come from good homes, with good families they don't understand EVIL. Shock is a real diagnosis, it was late, dark, tired, drugs, alcohol, denial. she will no doubt go through survivors guilt. I pray she survives from her mental anguish.

He could only kill 1 person at a time, yet no sounds of a struggle, no screams from the victim or the other person in the room yet to be attacked. And how was BK familiar with the floorplan, layout of the rooms? To accomplish all he did, in the time he did, had to have some foreknowledge. Had he ever been in there previously?

I think that the "crying" she heard was someone trying to scream but unable to actually do so. At that point he knew that too much noise was happening and he was simply focused on getting out of there and probably didn't even notice DM peeking out of the door. Not sure why everyone is having such a hard time understanding D.M.’s behavior that night/morning. It actually makes perfect sense logically and is likely how most any of us would have reacted if we were in the same situation. D.M.‘s behavior was dictated by initial fear followed by rationalization. The initial sight of the man, walking past her, toward the exit, caused her freeze in fear. She was likely anticipating seeing one of her roommates when she opened the door. Instead she was momentarily startled by the sight of an unknown man walking towards her. She then locks herself in her room, likely hears the man leave though the sliding door. As she reflects on this, she starts to rationalize what she heard and saw. She reasonably convinces herself, it’s just a friend of one of her roommates leaving. After all, only 10-15 minutes prior, a food driver driver had pulled up to the house and likely approached the same door the killer used to enter and leave . DM likely laid there for a few more minutes, doesn’t hear anymore abnormal noises, assumes everyone finally went to sleep and everything is back to normal. She falls back to sleep, somewhat annoyed her roommates kept her up so late. It’s not that hard to grasp. We have all been startled in the middle of the night by noises. When this happens we first think it’s a ghost or a robber and start to panic for a moment . But after the initial moment of panic, we start to rationalize about the sound we heard; It was just the neighbor coming home from an overnight shift at work, it’s just an old house settling, it was just the wind. We realize we over reacted and fall back to sleep. This was essentially no different to what DM did the night of the murders .

Idk. I think that he will wait for discovery, to make sure they have more evidence that either shows one of the victims dna in his home or car AND / or more evidence placing him inside of that home. It definitely doesn’t look good for him right now, but a good defense attorney could raise enough reasonable doubt. He doesn’t go straight there from his home, did he pick someone else up? Whose to say he didn’t think he was taking a friend to visit a girlfriend…. (I believe he’s guilty) I’m just saying, we don’t know everything yet. And, with what we know now, it just seems loose enough to create reasonable doubt.
