Yoo Youngjin is D.O.'s vocal coach. He is also a songwriter and producer of a lot of SM artists songs like Girls Generation, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, etc etc.

Another additional info, he was also SM's vocal director i believe. But he has left SM Ent in 2023.

Yeah he was around from H.O.T time, did songs for TVXQ, S.E.S, Super junior,Shinee. Mr yoojin has been involved with almost every SM artists for production and composing

Yoo Youngjin is the pioneer of rnb in South Korea. He's also SM's first signed artist, and became the main in-house songwriter for the label until 2023

Yoo Youngjin is a Producer/Mentor/Professor to soulful artists under SM Entertainments roof. He's loved for Girls' Generation anthem 'Beautiful Girls' ; 🎶Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Seohyuni, Sooyoung-iwa Yoona. The man got soul. D.O. was his student and learned well. Two soulful voices.

Yoo Youngjin is a legendary producer/composer, singer, and vocal coach (fully responsible for this song) that has been with SM since 1993 (though he seemingly left SM with Lee Sooman last year). Some aespa songs he has worked on that you'd be familiar with: Girls, Next Level (the slower "beat drop" section"), Savage (the bridge), Black Mamba, Forever (literally a remake of Yoo Youngjin's song). Then there's also MAMA, History, and What Is Love by EXO, Be Natural by Red Velvet, 28 Reasons by Seulgi, Stamp On It and Step Back by GOT the beat, to name a few more.

Yoo Youngjin was a vocal coach and producer for SM and specifically D.O’s trainer. He left SM last year in the midst of all the craziness that was happening with their restructuring. He’s worked with other artists before, for instance Super Junior’s Sorry, Sorry Answer which is another great track.

I'm hoping that with both Yoo Youngjin and Kyungsoo out of SM now, they'll be able to collaborate again. He worked with CBX too so who knows, maybe Baekhyun will bring him on! Chen also has a song with one of their vocal coaches, Onestar! May We Bye, I _highly_ recommend it especially for a Chen bias like you ^^

This song is proof that Kyungsoo is made for R&B tracks and once again confirmed his place as the king of runs. Yoo Youngjin was his (and many others of SM) vocal trainer. He also produced and wrote many songs of SM artists (HOT, BOA, Super Junior, SHINee, TVXQ), of EXO he did both MAMA and History! Sadly he left SM last year and it's not known if he's still working with Kyungsoo. I'd definitely recommend the live versions of this song. There is one where D.O. sings it in a solo performance and then there's a live performance at MAMA 2014 where he performs it with Baekhun and Chen, with the rest of the exo members as backup dancers. Hearing the vocal trinity go off in this song is honestly insane! Especially knowing they were still rookies at the time!

Ok, so after this you HAVE TO react to Super Junior's Sorry Sorry Answer, also made by Yoo Young Jin. Performed by SJ's powerhouse trinity (imagine three men like Baekhyun, Chen and D. O.) WITH Yoo Young Jin. He also wrote the legendary kpop anthem Sorry Sorry for SUJU. To this point nobody dares to cover this song except Baekhyun, so imagine the vocals ! ❤😊

Yoo Young-Jin SM Station, Cure with Taeyong of NCT 127. Luther Vandross is a good comparison, he is from that era, but Cure with Taeyong has 80s rock ballad vibes, if 80s rock ballads had rap verses.
