I love this store ❤ Everything is beautiful and well cared for. I got the biorb terrarium with dart frogs and I watch them everyday, plan on getting the bigger one on my birthday!

"Jungle Carpets" are not a locality. They're a sub species. Morelia spilota cheynei. Most people think all the various carpets are localities when in fact they are mostly various sub-species or full species. There are available localities in the US for some Jungle and Coastal animals. Maybe a few others.

Back in the 80s, when I was in reptile stores, they were pretty drab. Animals were kept on newspaper. That said, there were no "care guides" to be found online bc there was NO ONLINE. You actually followed the care recommendations from your local reptile store and doing that worked out for me & my animals back then. Brick & mortar is tough nowadays. Retail has always been tough, but the concept at this store is nice - merging the world of bioactive husbandry for reptiles with plants, having workshops for all ages, having reading days for kids, etc. It's all very clever. I wish you all the very best! ❤

The diversity of services will definitely help them stay afloat in the new online market dominated retail world.

Looks like a great store, I need to make the drive up from Raleigh and visit it. I must have gotten lucky, I loved my childhood reptile store...no drab smell and it was mostly captive bred. Putting plants and herps together is a great idea.

Biorb... don't bother. It's 2000 dollars for a roughly 20 inch by 20 inch cube with shipping possibly more.

@@FreedomWellness Yeah the lighting and misting with the app is cool and all, but does that equal like 1700 dollars extra? lol

I'm not trying to be rude but that looks more like a green tree monitor.
