New Extension Cord and Reel? Now What? 

This is great. I bought one of these cheap Home Depot cords reels and regretted it until I saw this video. Thank you. Very easy to follow.

The reel shown is do small you’d be lucky to get 50 feet on it. Rather than make a huge hole in the reel, simply tie the middle of the chord to the reel with a giant zip tie. Try it. If you don’t like it, just cut the zip tie and try something else. The best way to store a chord is to make a loop in the middle and draw in both chords at the same time. When you need chord, you draw out an equal length of the male and female ends.

Hmm, another video, the guy couldnt get the cord under the tab so he used a ziptie, anyhow, the cord is wrapped doubel. Think a shoe string laying down with the ends even(side by side) like a big U or V. attached that center to the tab, then roll the cord.
