Eagles are great but when it comes to tight surf I would recommend the Phantom series. The 940S or 840s is the ticket for 2-6ft surf. Eagle are awesome at downwind and speed. Tight turning is not really what they like so I prefer the Phantom for surf or cutback action. Cheers!

Out of curiosity ... you seem to be putting something like "loctite" on the screws. What exactly is it? Thanks!

Just basic marine lube or petroleum jelly; not locktite. Helps on new hardware to not cross tread them when you first install them to your fuse.
