I agree with most. The lights look nice! But the music before felt like it was building up to an exciting story and left you amazed and in awe! This did look like a slide show missing some sync and harmony 😢 The performers and Pyro is always amazing!
This would fit so well at Disneyland! Add after pirates, replace Aladdin for Hercules, add more stunts for mulan or replace for Raya training with her Ba or fighting Nomarie, and instead of tink opening the princess it's replaced with mickey's hand painting the hat going to Aladdin. Put the show total at 30 min!
Really need to see the full show and in person. This just looks like another one of Disney’s mash-up sing along videos! 😕 hope it’s better than what this represents.
If you compare this version versus the original that only had Pocahontas, there was more fanfare in the new version. Especially with how much Disney as a company has grown in terms of animation, it makes more sense to add more iconic Disney movies. Fun fact: Moana walking on water was a plan where Mickey was originally going to do, but the idea was scrapped. So it is amazing to see a scrapped plan being utilized in this version. As a longtime Fantasmic fan, I absolutely enjoyed the added visuals, replacing all of Pocahontas with other Disney IPs, more lighting, and making the show much grander than ever before. And this says alot because they butchered so many great shows like Finding Nemo and I was hoping they wouldn't butcher this one. And I'm happy to say it was so damn well done!
I mean it’s nice but it’s basically just a slideshow of new Disney movies because they knew it would be popular in the show. The Aladdin bit is really good. It’s nice how they enhanced it with the new lights but I wish they refurbished the dragon and fountains :(
I think that was their goal tho, because we get introduced to the villains in the second half, but theirs not a complete introduction to the heroes in the beginning half, so I think it makes it balanced. With the fountains, yeah they could have made it more similar to Disneyland's, but I like how they used them in the show nonetheless
@@ryankiser294 obviously the fountains are used well but I’m just not into the slideshow of Disney characters on the screen at the beginning and end. All the live parts are extremely well done.
Maybe it's because I'm seeing this on my phone. Maybe in person I would feel differently. But this does not charm and delight me the way it used to. But I'm a grandma, so maybe it's a generational thing.
I don’t feel the same level of charm as I used to with shows like illuminations or the original Fantasmic and I’m a teenager. I think it’s the company not your generation.
