Add some ghee or butter to that pan after the chicken next time and add in the onions.with seasoning salt sprinkled on the onions...sauté them til they have lil brown bits on them..I tell u girl..u may love onions after that..I hate raw onions or just heated onion without sauté them..hamburger steak or a steak with sauté onions ,add Texas Pete..yumm yummm..adding the Lawerys seasoning salt makes all the diff!!

I just LOVE You and Buckey!!! What I really like about your recipes is that most ingredients are things you have on hand. I just wanted to tell you both how much I love your channel. I love trying your recipes (that Mississippi pot roast was so delicious), but even more than that I just love your interactions & your relationship together. You guys need to get the keychain that holds a quarter to keep on your keys. Aldi has them once in a while but I'm sure Amazon or Etsy would have some! That's what I did because I would never have a quarter.

A dish in other countries…. A Philippine dish - PANCIT!!! My Fav. While I’ve never lived outside of the US, my mom worked with some Philippine nurses and they made the dish with just the noodles and “veggies”. It was AMAZING!! I’ve tried Myself to make it, but it’s never ever the same as what they could do. Also I remember little “spring roll” type things. Man oh man, were they SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! Can’t think of name they used for the spring rolls? They were SMALL and crispy. I don’t think they were called egg rolls because they were small? I cannot remember, been too many years ago.

I cook my orzo in with the onion and chicken stock then add the Boursin in after it’s cooked. That way it makes everything super creamy!

Oh My that would be fun to make dishes from other places. Years ago, we had a group of six couples, and every January we would meet up and draw names of different countries for each month of the year, and the one who drew what month and country, would be the one who made the main meat/ dish and the rest of us would bring sides and a dessert. It was so much fun and we called it - Around The World Date Night. Enjoyed the fellowship with you two beautiful folks.

I'm proud of her too! I never used to like onions or garlic much at all. I only put them in soups or stews occasionally. Now, because I know how good they are for us, I put a lot of them in everything except desserts. I am still recovering from Lyme disease since 2018 and I couldn't eat anything or get well. I started putting onions, garlic, shallots, and leeks in all of my soups and slowly that has made a difference for me. I couldn't eat gluten, dairy fresh fruit and vegetables...it was horrible. Please protect yourself from tick borne illness. (I didn't see a tick) it's gotten more prevalent. Over 400,000 people diagnosed a yr. I knew onions were good for you, but I didn't want to smell like them. I got to the point I was so sick - I didn't care. No where does it say to use them to recover from Lyme. But I knew they had healing properties. Like chest plasters for chest colds, placing slices on your feet in socks if you're ill...( Though, I'd never done any of those things) still 2 infectious disease specialists, one from a very prestigious hospital did nothing for me, just lots of blood letting and rounds of antibiotics. Didn't heal me. That's how I learned to eat onions. And I made fire cider for this winter and it's some wicked stuff. 🥵

And I can't tolerate them raw. When I eat with my sister, she will put large pieces of onion in dishes so I can eat around them. That onion chutney is ridiculous. I also made a charcuterie board this past weekend and used their onion chutney, balsamic and onion cheddar, mini sausages, different olive tapenades, and cheddar wafer crackers, also, scalloped garlic crackers. I’m sorry you don’t like onion bc it was crazy good. We also made chicken gyros with the mini naan. They have a gyro or souvlaki season mix to use. Yum in my tum.

I can't tolerate raw onions, even though growing up, my parents had raw onions all the time.🤮 I LOVE grilled onions! They are so good on burgers and grilled sandwiches.🧅 Sweet onions from Vidalia are my favorite!❤

My daughter in law and my youngest son don’t eat onion unless I mince it up so small it’s like onion mush. Lol! We get the flavor in cooking it but not chunky bites. I only use a small amount too.

Love that cheese and I will make the sauce and chicken without the orzo as I am doing lower carb right now (do love orzo though). Never thought of using the cheese that way.

My mom is German Bavarian. For Christmas every year she made Rouladen, Klöße, Rot Kraut. Rouladen is thinly cut beef with grey poupon, pickles, onion and bacon rolled up. Potato Balls, gravy and red cabbage. If you would like to have the recipe let me know. 🥰

I would love for you to share it! My mother in law was German and made Rouladen and Red Cabbage every Christmas! She passed away 18 years ago and then later her daughters passed. I have dreamed of making but don’t know where to begin! Thank you! Georgia, USA🇺🇸

I am upset with Aldi and them only having 1 check out person, our Aldi only has 4 self checkouts and it is always a wait to use them. Another way companies do not want to pay to have employees.🤔

My closest store was closed for 2 months to install self checkouts. Like the quick checkout is the number 1 reason to shop there!
