Ernie Coombs was incredibly talented and when he took out the markers then draw something perfectly, he had my full attention.

He taught kids to be inventive or artistic with what ever materials they had on hand. A great teacher!

ITS ABOUT TIME!!! I grew up with Mr Dressup, Casey and Finnigan! I used to think they were right inside the TV set. One day, I asked my mother if I could see them if I broke the set with my little wooden chair? Omg, Mom jumped when I said that!

January 2, 1984 episode Mr. Dress-up refers to Casey as "he". I always knew he was a boy! That debunks the theory of not knowing if he was a boy or girl 😉.
