It's so perfect. Imagine if Square Enix paid the people who made this amazing mod, put some voice acting and small extra features and made it the FFIX remake and put it on all platforms.
we know squarenix and any company wont pay just because, they need to make profit. If they decide that the profit wont be enough they wont spend a dime. They should HIRE these guys when they plan to do an official remaster
@@Sacrengard Probably not worth the money to them. They probably made all the money they're gonna make outsourcing it to the lowest bidder. If anything, they are very cool for not issuing CnDs like nintendo.
Thank you for featuring Memoria! Memoria isn’t just a launcher or mod manager; it's actually an entire engine rewrite that makes everything possible, including Moguri. Many people creating videos seem to assume Moguri does everything, but Memoria is the main framework under which everything operates. One small correction: while the Beatrix mod is indeed part of Alternate Fantasy, Trance Seek is an entirely separate mod. To give an analogy, if you’re familiar with the New Threat mod for FF7, Alternate Fantasy and Trance Seek are like that but two distinct mods that aren’t related, and you can’t run both together. Alternate fantasy is more expansion trance seek really focuses more of game mechanics and difficulty
Thanks for making this video, very informative. We, at Memoria team, are very proud of what we accomplished so far. And there is more to come so make sure 'Check for updates' is enabled. Coming soon is new world map options to increase fov, view distance and more. A complete redesign of the launcher exposing even more options for you to play with. And of course more bugfixes (not running out of those apparently lmao).
May I applaud your incredible work. I respect and appreciate you all. But I want to extend an even greater, broader thanks to your colleagues and fellow fans. Much love, and endless respect my friends. May you reap the rewards you so deserve!!! Peace
Hello ! Thanks you for this video, very appreciate ! I want to clarify just two things about it : - My Triple Triad mod in the catalog is indeed totally optionnal because you can change the card game directly with Memoria. However, this mod change the texture of the card game to resemble that of FF8 and also replaces the music! Triple Triad is still WIP because i want to add the special rules and improve the AI. - I'd also like to suggest one of my mods, which I feel greatly enhances the experience: “Playstations Sounds”. It corrects over 1,000 sound files, especially those for combat, which are simply horrible. Simply a must-have with Moguri! Have a nice day sir !
@@BltzZ I already installed it, the shader look really cool. But there a notice to update moguri mod, should I update it? what the latest update anyway? Do they fix the black screen border in certain location?
I'm playing modded FF7 at the moment and it occurred to me I should hit up FF9 next. It was the only PS1 FF game on Steam not on sale right now. Go figure.
Great game you wont regret, and these mods certainly are the best way to play it. Highly recommend securing it on the instant gaming link I pinned because $8 is hard to beat right now!
@BltzZ that link came in clutch. Much appreciated. I'm old and played it when it was first released but for whatever reason never went back to it. It dropped near the end of the PS1 life cycle so I probably moved on to other things. Plus, after a certain point, I was kind of burned out on turn-based RPGs. The FF7 Remake/Rebirth style combat is more my speed these days but I've been having a good time modding these games.
I hope that Square-Enix does a 1:1 remake of Final Fantasy IX with the same content, updated graphics, wide screen, 60 fps, make Beatrix a permanent party member, etc.
Unfortunately I think we’ve seen now that if they do indeed do a remake, it will be a very visually spectacular, boring game filled with lots of changes no one wanted
@@BltzZ straight up. I don't think I can't play it without Echo S though. The Echo S 7 was a game changer. I already it bought this through the site. Couldn't pass up that price so it will be modded and ready to go. Hopefully Echo S will release in the next year
Is it easy for me to just download the visual stuff and not let them change the core game? I haven't researched, if there are bugs in the original etc. I'll fix that, but I'm not looking for to change the regular intended game.
Only thing I will say in SEs defense...they are very cool with the CnDs. There are private servers running ffxi like retail with populations of 1000s and SE doesn't touch them. They are better than Nintendo for sure.
I honestly think Trance should be left alone and not made to be controlled. It gave balance to the game in my opinion. I wouldn’t want an easy boss fight walking to a battle with everyone’s trance in standby.
big time lol Instant Gaming has us covered. FFX just went on sale too during that turn based one and went from 30 bucks to 11 to match instant gaming lol
The only satisfiable remake will look like a Pixar movie at all times with equally impressive voice acting. I don't think Square-Enix can pull it off, but go ahead and try I'd rather they botch a IX remake than make 2 more games like 15 and 16.
All of these mods are completely free the only thing you need to pay for is FF9. Because a pirated version will not work with these mods. However, my link above will let you purchase the game for only $8 compared to the retail $21 it currently sits at. Enjoy!
The links should be working I just clicked them and it's working on my end. Yes it works on steam deck! Get theK Kommand code on the GitHub link @@scalemodelstudio
