In Alaska the Draw tags, Over the counter tickets, and the Subsistance Tags have managed and promoted safe, ethical, productive harvests for years. Come on up I’ll show you around!
In Victoria we have hunting on public lands. System is not perfect bur it's pretty good, generates revenue and is great for hunters. Crazy that a system like that isn't nationwide
WA WAS JUST A TESTER FOR THE LAWS THAT THE REST OV AUSTRALIA WILL SOON HAVE TO ABIDE BUY 🤷♂️ THEY ALL READY SAID THAT WA WAS A TESTER OV THE LAWS COMING IN
I am all for public land access and hunting (in suitable locations of course) I realise that a permit system is used for data collection etc but really it is just another lever of bureaucracy control and money grabbing for nothing. It really rubs me the wrong way that we have to appease the do-gooders in power by agreeing to permits and self imposed conditions when licenced shooters are already scrutinised and approved. As for tags, everything we hunt or are allowed to hunt in Australia except for waterfowl is an introduced game or pest species, the only thing I think should require tags is native species like macropods which already have a tag requirement in most states. Basically what I am saying is don't self impose more systems and conditions just to appease the powers at be. Good work Jack ,keep at them👍
Please free up some of the regulations around the National Parks in the South West of WA. It has been all locked up. Cant even take family pets IN YOUR VEHICLES into these areas.
