The increase of product announcements could also be related to the recent increase in focus to bringing in new players with the presence of LSS at multiple large conventions this year. Many of these products are geared towards newer players so announcing entry point cc decks and new player products make sense when you think of that factor.

I feel like products will now be something like this: First strike: basic fab mechanics made to help with on boarding new players. Blitz bundle decks: a more fleshed out blitz deck that you can jump right into blitz nights at your armory with Armory decks: cc decks that you can jump right into your local armory with. Round the table: designed to open and play Upf on casual nights or at the kitchen table. Classic battles may just be gone, I think first strike takes that role now

blitz bundle certainly cannot go into blitz armory, they are just a more expensive and exclusive kinda product for new players or collectors

Rowdy locals is great in Nuu. If you have a transcend card in hand you can play that out, make them block it if they are worried about the on hit and then transcend and pitch the chi into the mask not having to discard while still taking a card.

James said at one point 15 heros this year. 5 in Hvy. 3 in MST felt weird, but then we found new moon so 9 total. Again, 4 in ROS felt weird, but with Terra that's 14. I bet that the last Armory deck that isn't announced is a new hero!

I think the 1st Strike decks will have hero specializations unique to that product to differentiate them from the normal blitz decks.

Hey Red, i was one of the commenters talking about Aurora. I had only seen the first strike decks give artwork for her at that point, so i went looking for the token version after you explained that both exist and guess what i found. On the rosetta product sheets there is an Aurora young hero card same art and everything, but it has the purple triangle of marvel rarity. I am now more confused than ever.

I've actually seen some Nuu deck lists from various nationals top 8s that have been using Rowdy Locals. I personally plan to run it (currently testing with two in the sideboard to throw in against aggro decks). It essentially guarantees that you have the opportunity to rip at least one card from your opponent's hand either as a block or from the effect. Even if it simply buys one of your opponent's equipment blocks that's not too bad for a 0 cost Blue, especially since that may end up buying more opportunities for low-investment Persuasive Prognosis later. Nuu seems to have a lot of cards she doesn't mind discarding to its effect because of all the Blue 1 damage cards she runs that lose steam as your attack reactions thin out (especially after playing all three Just a Nick), and Assassin loves tricks that rip cards out of the opponent's hand. Its biggest downside is its inability to be targeted by most of your attack reactions, but as a 0 for 4 (or 2 and a card rip) Blue I feel like that's okay, especially since you can potentially give it Go Again anyway from Beckoning Mistblade. (Not to mention that it then potentially becomes a 0 for 5, and at 3 it gets above the 2 block equipment.) The more I analyze the card, the more absolutely wonderful it seems to run into the aggro matchups for Assassin. I might even run it against Prism simply because it at least gets above her Phantasmal Footsteps unlike most of Nuu's other blue attacks.

I would like to see the normal blitz decks tuned up to something more similar to what we saw in the around the table product if not maybe a little better. Kinda like making them blitz versions of the armory decks, and that would further help to differentiate them. I’m not getting my hopes up though.

I feel the loss of the old Super rarity hurts the ability to balance power/ money cards in these preconstucted decks. Those better than rares, but not quite "cash money" majestics that are needed to juice the pre built decks into something that doesn't fold immediately in a semi competitive environment, imo.
