I miss having the Orion V and VII OGs in Casey Stengal and I miss the Casey Stengal bus driver Michael Fatis who used to drive me around as a treat on their Orion 7 OG hybrids (05-07 models) on the Q32

most likely the compressor in the engine needs to be charged again with refrigerant for the A/C to work correctly. how often does this happen?

I’ve seen this issue arise. I won’t have to deal with this anymore when I move to Miami which has XN40s and Gillig BRT+ CNGs, which are maintained way better than the MTA. As for your part you will have LYNX Bus, which are also do way better than the MTA, because they are maintained better. They also have CNG buses like Miami does, so that’s a plus, and both LYNX and MDT have maintained their buses better than MTA and NICE, and they don’t have the overheating problems like the ones at NICE have consistently.

Stengal Should have kept more of their Orion 7 NGs to use as extra/spares to account for the shortage of buses.

They all sound like that with the AC is on...
