Ettiene's new model is kind of cursed, but holy fuck they made him absolutely wonderful for Battles 2. I love how they're experimenting a lot more with the heroes for Battles 2 and not just importing them anymore

I know right? I love the unique mechanics they give that is tailored specially for this game, such as the spying feature and adjusting his levels to make camo more affordable.

@@MainChannel9521 1. Spy drone: gathers intel on your opponent's bloon sends and money. has the added feature of Etienne calling out modified bloons or high HP bloons before they arrive. 2. UAV is a Global MIB. you get the UAV much earlier (at level 6) and it has better utility than his BTD6 version. It starts with a 33% cjhance to make towers get normal damage. then slowly gets upgrades to become a full MIB. you can call it a MID (Monkey Intelligence Drone) 3. I have a RU-vid Short where I destroy a Round 12 Camo Rush with only Etienne and one other tower. Yes, it's possible to hard counter Round 12. all you need is 2,300 money by saving on de-camo towers, as Etinenne gets the Global Camo at level 7. 4. He starts with 2 DRONES!!!

He has new voice lines for this ability: If he sees any Modified bloons, or any High HP Bloons in the enemy send queue, He will say "They're Planning Somthing!!!" or "Threat Incoming!!!" and he displays a Warning sign ⚠above hs head.

Etienne is actually my favorite hero of all time in BTD 6, what he lacks in raw power he makes up for in support and utility by granting every tower on the map camo detection. (I don't know how he works in BTD Battles 2 though.) Btw a word of advice, the drone ability takes time to activate it, you want to use the ability slightly before you need the extra drones because they won't fire while they're spawning in.

in Battles 2, he's a Flying MIB and a Spy hero. he has 2 drones when bought. at level 2, he spies on the enemy bloon sends and the opponent's money. he even calls out potential game-ending sends. he shouts "THEY'RE PLANNING SOMETHING!!!" when he sees them in the send queue At level 6 a UAV shows up to provide a "Chance" to bypass bloon immunities. at 15, it becomes a full MIB. at level 7, yes, 1 level earlier than BTD6, it grants global camo.

@boltrix did you notice that the Wall of fire didn't extinguish from Ryan's rushes in the midgame? This means that étienne makes your walls of fire not be killed by purples but can't damage them either , so my guess is that any bloon property that helps a bloon for example lead will not stop a projectile from passing through it even with its immunity example a dart will go through a lead bloons even if it can't pop it, so layering leads or zebras or purps won't work on étienne mains

Looks like Etienne buffs all towers on the map, the laser gunner had the icon for his buffs. (for reference at 10.00).

The Buff is a nerfed MIB. at level 6, the UAV appears, and it gives a 33% chance for all towers to get normal damage. it slowly upgrades as etienne levels. at level 15, the UCAV becomes a full MIB where all towers get normal damage

wierd note: most decamo towers cost around 2000 bucks to obtain. I know this because I HEAVILY use decamo towers. Sub and Mortar. For etienne tho, at round 12, if he's level 6, you can spend 2300 bucks to level him up to level 7, which gets Camo UAV buff. I have a short on this where I destroy a jericho user who tried to kill me with a purple camo rush

I think ettienne gives camo detection to every monkey on the map because every monkey u had had camo detection because of the icon above the monkeys head

Etienne does give global camo detection at level 7 on the whole map . In his range all monkeys can pop all bloon types too😮

for context: he gets the UAV at level 8 in BTD6 but here, the UAV shows up much earlier. at level 6, he gives a "chance" to bypass immunities at level 7, he gives global Camo. finallly at level 15, the UCAV becomes a full MIB (without the grow blocker)

With Etienne coming makes me wonder if we are going to get book wyrm Etienne or ETN as alternate version of him also with Etienne you can use any strategy you want well you still need lead popping tower but every tower can pop lead bloons so pretty much you can use any strategy you want with Etienne I'm so excited for him

Challenge : Only use monkeys from the magic category. For your hero, use only heroes that buff magic monkeys (Adora, Obin, Ezili).

Etienne gets camo detection (for his drones) at level 5. at this point Jericho also gets his Bloon adjustments upgraded too. so if camo shows up on Etienne's side, it's not a big problem. at level 7, (yes, one level early than BTD6) he gets the Omni-camo buff from the UAV.

I just went into btb2 and I looked for him in the hero selection (I was playing speed battles) and I couldn't find him untill I watched this and I realised it's in a future update

Impossible cooldown challenge: any hero/tower but you must use your abilities immediately whenever they come off cooldown. NO microing allowed

Wierd thing about the Spy drone ability: Since you can see the opponent's bloon sends he will also notify the player if there's any potential bloon threats in the queue!!! He has a new voice line that says "THEY'RE PLANNING SOMETHING!!!" if he sees modified bloons, or high HP bloons like Ceramic rushes or MOABs in case you cannot hear him call it out, He even has an Emergency sign ⚠ show up above him to get your attention!!!

casual mode was removed because in ranked next season it’s impossible to lose trophies so they figured it would make the matchmaking better too

day 40 of asking: do the medieval strat so you can only use: 5-2-5 dart 5-2-2 boomer 5-2-2 bomb 2-5-2 boat 5-5-5 mortar 5-5-5 ninja 5-2-2 village and what you think would consider being a medieval tower keep up the great work (also use creator code Boltrix in the creator support tab in battles 2 and Btd 6 shop)
