Fun fact : You can see the shadow of his plane from his level ten ability since the level 8. (And at any time) (The plane comes to give camo at level 8 and can go down to shred bloons at level 10.)
That only shows up after getting the U A V upgrade (camo), and it flies downwards when you activate UCAV, and flies upwards past the camera when the ability times out

Good to know you’re not doing worse! Hope the new meds help you get better!!! Also I really like this new hero he looks fun to use, but I would’ve loved some sort of small buff to helis and aces like maybe a flight speed buff or something like that.

Hey ISAB, glad to see your eczema hasn't really gotten worse and such. Anyways if you got itchiness problems, I recommend using Curel Itch Defense lotion, really helps calm down the itchiness. Also on another note, in Mesa, you can remove the rock pillar formations for $500, so you could've put a heli down if you had removed the debris next to Etienne
At first it looked like Etienne opened up a lot of 2TC challenges, but seems he only really helps for 2TCC, since no affordable tower is a DDT layer solo. Basically every buff and nerf in this update seemed random, but funnily much better than 19.0 changes.
WebBowser 2 Tower CHIMPS, it's a community challenge where you can only use two towers to complete a game of CHIMPS. It's surprisingly hard, especially to find new ones. There's also an achievement in-game based on it, and another achievement based on another challenge, 2MPC (2 Megapops Challenge, where one tower gets 2 million pops in a single CHIMPS game).
btw the UCAV is actually there before level 10, when you get the "camo detection for all" upgrade (?) you can see UCAV's shadow on the ground (it's providing the camo detection). the ability just upgrades it from a surveillance plane to a fighting plane
I think he needs a serious buff, to be valuable in any situation. Cant be alch buffed cant beat blacks no damage to ddts generaly abysmal popping power, its also quite expensive for some reason

@@azenithsolas3732 I mean, so can Ezeli... As a tower, I agree he's underwhelming. However, being a global camo village with a third of the cost is really really nice. I might use him on my Dark Castle run (insert "everything works on Dark Castle" here).
WebBowser Ezli is way more powerful, considering how many 3TC ABRs she won, Etienne just gives camo detection, and extra damage, so we might see him in a 2TC with someone like Archmage or something.

It looked like the Etienne's camo detection was map wide, not just in his radius. Also, I wonder if you had continued with 0 lives, would it have kept eating the bloons and allowed to progress infinitely?
Yeah he's pretty good of a hero, with jumgle drums and cta he can solo bad depending on map, and with overclock and / or other support towers he can win on almost every map if you make it to the bad round
The way Etienne's targeting options work: First: Self-explanatory Divide and Conquer: One drone targets first, the other strong. With three drones I think the third drone also targets first. Zone Defense: One drone targets first, the second strong, and the third last. With four drones the last one targets close. UCAV: Seems to target Close usually though sometimes it switches to First.
If you're short on cash, I highly recommend just grabbing medals on easy/medium maps. Each new medal gives you a lot of monkey money for relatively low effort. Daily challenges are also not bad, but some of them can be kinda hard and not worth it.
@@webbowser8834 I know how to get Monkey Money, I play on expert maps because it gives you a lot, but I also grind lower maps just for the sake of having the trohpies. But imagine my suprise after buying Brickell and having a new hero come out about a week later.
I think NK's thought process for Etienne was that he was meant to be much more of a mix of both support & damage that could/should sorta be slotted into strategies as an assisting tower, by starting out weak but becoming a lot stronger as he levels up 1. Earlygame he's a bit meh. The single drone is a bit too slow to NLL earlyish rounds 2. His UAV is really insane, cus it removes the necessity for Camo-removal entirely, which could make alotta strategies even better 3. He gets UCAV pretty quickly, & that thing makes for a quick round-clearer. Just put a MIB on Etienne & it'll easily clear out a midgame round 4. Perma-UCAV. By Monkey-god's name, is it really good. It does really well at damaging lategame rounds (it doesn't exactly solo, but I don't think he was meant to be a solo hero) especially with the ability Overall, I actually think he's a pretty good hero (high B-tier) that can be great for a whole 100-round game, assuming you have at least a few other towers to assist him. Only changes I think he needs are allowing Alch buff to work on him, having levels that allow Drones to pop leads & UCAV to pop blacks, & some big buffs to his drones at higher levels so they don't fall off so hard lategame
try the map infernal put quincy on the main middle island on the bottom he can reach both lanes if u put him on the corners thats a good map to grind money
Yea people are looking at Etienne in the complete wrong light. They're so used to having hyper clusters of damage and highly dense strategies that they don't even bother to stop and think about what Etienne actually does for the meta. It completely removes the need for a village to get reliable camo detection. And it lets you spend all the money you're dumping into villages for upgrades on other towers instead. Etienne is a VERY strong support hero.
Minor misfortune, they seem to have broken mauler moab skin; doesn't show damage states. As for the targeting options, I believe "Divide and Conquer" sets 1 drone on First and the rest on Strong, whereas "Area defense" spreads them out to try cover as much of Etienne's range as possible for more AoE. The latter is kinda ass though, so I'd recommend either First or Divide.
With the new map there is a visual glitch where if you remove one of the rocks and put towers there than after they have been there for a round exit than reload it shows the rocks are back but you can still place towers you’re old ones are still there and things like that
He could've worked as an aerial support-DPS, like giving drones Downdraft and buff aerial towers in Etieenes range (Helis, Aces, Aircraft Carrier's Aces). Currently he's just too weak due to being inconsistent with drone targetting.
It gives full camo detection across the map, not just in range. Which is actually kinda nutty. Especially for his price. It feels kinda weird that you can overclock but not alch buff, also I really wish his targeting was less... shitty.
I guess He is somesort of a passive Tower at First, dont gather Money for him to early, get stable With a Ninja or a good Submarine and then place him for leveling. He gives subs early Camo upfront when you place him too With ADVANCED Intel and until 10 He becomes the Powerhouse more and more. So basically a Tower that ramps Up, but you better have a Solid early Game Plan

I get it, not the greatest, but i just can't say no to that *global camo detection buff.* on hard mode, i hit round 100 with ONLY 2 Tack shooters, a singular spike factory (which did have to be sold and re-upgraded to a different path at one of the DDT waves, which i barely clutched), and one engineer. of course, i got etienne to max and every other tower to teir 5 (albeit not at the same time, i sold a permaspikes to get inferno ring and replaced the permaspikes with a spike storm). ettiene's great when paired with high-damage (usually explosive/energy) monkeys, because you won't have to worry about getting a village and placing them either huddled together or getting a village for each one: you use the money you would have spent for villages on more towers.
At first, i was excited at the sight of all towers on the map get camo detection but then i remember if you farm properly for villages or have a proper shimmer or etc. the free camo detection is relatively useless. But i guess on some maps where it's hard to get anti camo towers up i could see it being useful. I just feel Etienne should be more split aviation support and damage instead of being a damage focus hero.
this tower is the new two tower chimps meta... all those towers that need camo or the better crosspath... Imma do the primaries and him, hella fire tho.
I think his only use is as a full range camo village with a slightly more powerful phoenix. This allows for more usages of random towers that I can space out
I think lvl20 etienne is actually pretty strong. He levels just as fast as quincy and quincy cannot even come close to beating round 96. Etienne came really close, PLUS his level 8 ability ALONE is enough to justify using him in your comp. He not only deals more damage than quincy, but actually has one of the best level 8 support upgrades in the game. (and quincy is regarded as one of the strongest fast leveling heroes) I think its just his early game is weak af
Struggles with bads and cannot attack ddts. Very bad popping power. Full map camo detection isnt good actually. Drones dont have their own range. Quincy can damage ddts with his level 10 ability.
So essentially, etienne and adora are ability based damage, whilst quincy and Churchill are normal damage. Only problem is, quincy and Churchill still have abilities for damage anyways, whilst adora and etienne have nothing without abilities. Etienne being far, far worse, as he cant even alch buff. Both he and adora need level 20 to perform at all. But he is cool.
i've never used him, but from what i can see, im kind of dissapointed that etienne's drone can only go within range. you might as well have churchill, he does a better job.
@@tinodethuong the best thing about etienne is his uav. It gives camo to every monkey, no questions asked. However, entienne cannot take down ddts (even with level 10 ability and being level 20) without a mib. This wouldn't be a problem if he was a support hero... but as a damage hero he's lucky to take down even a moab and he levels up too slow to get to his stronger points, like when he starts doing 5 damage per shot.
@@isuckatgaming1873 the only changes i would ask would be to make Etienne's drone be able to fly anywhere and make it so that etienne buffs air towers, like how striker jones buffs explosive towers or how Brickell buffs water towers.
@@tinodethuong he really does need to be able to fly everywhere. His drones whiff a lot within the radius, but if they were given the pursuit property then they'd fire straight on target wherever they are needed. I'd still say he wouldn't be as good as churchill or quincy due to lack of damage until level 16, but he'd be usable for the price.
@@isuckatgaming1873 and to add onto this, etienne would actually be a hero. like, rn etienne is just a bad version of a heli. but every other hero has their own unique property, like Quincy has a bow that has a lot of pierce. Gwen can make towers in range be able to pop lead and she can burst fire, striker jones can buff explosive towers, obyn can have wall of trees, which is basically a spike factory but it generates bananas, Churchill is a combo between a bomb shooter and a supermonkey, pat futsy is an amphibian and has big squeeze, Ezili can sacrifice lives for buffs, Ben can make bank and Adora can sacrifice towers for exp. and hopefully, Etienne's unique property would be that she has mapwide range. Making her good for maps like firing range. I actually didnt expect for her drones to have limited range until i saw this video.
