The FN 30/1 has an original FN sight and even full autos, but at the time an iron sight was sufficient, just for snipers, some had magazines of FN Fal in 308, taken over by the Argentines. The repro mount that I make is a reproduction of the FN issued sniper scope mount system originally made by E.C.Herkner. Two piece. Dovetail base and repro large knob Echo style rings. It only fits rifles with the dovetail slot on the left side of the receiver. It looks just like the military issued mount, but does not say E.C.Herkner on the top part. The one shown in the video is a previous style I made to get around the unavailability of the Echo rings, by using a pic rail. I made a few of them. Then I went all in and reproduced the whole thing. I believe the S&K mounts to the sight base and fits all rifles. It is not the correct type of mount for the military rifle, but I'm sure it works just fine.
