Some of this is expensive stuff! I pictured a food pantry as more basic stuff, like rice and beans, eggs and milk.

Umm yeah it hasn't been great all the time. 🤦‍♀️ I relate!!! I don't entirely trust it because it's past date but "frozen" but for me I worry that it's not being frozen properly and if it is, is it "staying" frozen at a safe temperature. I hope it will be good once dethawed.

Hey Rachel! This one is set up like a store! So you walk through and choose from certain shelves. So for example one shelf may have a variety of items like cereal, oatmeal, and granola, and you'd be permitted to choose one of the items so you get some say out of the available options. I try to choose what is most in date. Thankfully most is usually in date but those taco shells they had loads and they were very old.🤣 I threw them away as I'm not risking two year old food haha!

Nice haul! I was randomly suggested your channel, looking for ways to make do with a lower income. Does your food pantry have income limits? May I ask what state you're in?

Hi! Aw, I'm SO glad youtube recommended you over here! So, I'm not entirely sure how they work in other places. Here in Canada, now, they ask you your place of employment etc but they didn't ask me how much we make yearly. I've heard other places do require things like proof of income etc, pay stubs, so I'm really not sure. My advice would be to try and see if you qualify anyways, even if you think you may not but that you would benefit from the help. A lot of people are surprised to qualify because many assume if you are a working class family you automatically won't but it is simply not the case. Thanks for being here!!! 😊❤️
