The air coming in through the door is the door beading thats probably come loose. One can unseat the door beading while exiting if the front seats are set to far back. Thanks for the well balanced review.
I don't know how many times I have watched this video. I love this for 2 reasons: Your presentation and of-course THE GURKHA! ☺ Thank you, Team PowerDrift!
The way that Turbo sounds!!!!🔥🔥 Changing the steering design was not that tough or costly for Force.. should have done. Infotainment system can be upgraded if not happy with it..still should have been better.. Looking at the quality of the roof mounted blower.. it should have not been provided rather
Firstly, thanks for addressing the baby off-road track that everyone had to drive in. And idk why no one is appreciating the fact that force has finally addressed the extremely low front control arm that previous gen Gurkha was plagued with! And lastly thanks PD for not doing a 0-100 run like some did.
3:07 exactly, why would you put captain seats that too in the last row! Rarely used last row should have been a foldable bench seat that would increase the cargo space too. Plus second row captain seats would have been more comfortable and spacious with no tyres taking space.
Kudos to the host! He did an absolute fantastic job with this quick review. Covered all the details, made some great observations but didn't make it boring. And superb perspective on the vehicle. Esp loved the unscripted part. Looking forward to a more comprehensive review once monsoons in Maharashtra! 😊
6:01 Genuinely concerned about the cross member that's underneath just after the transfer case, isn't that going to catch on rocks and boulders off-road? Seems pretty low. Was this also present on the previous Gurkha?
2nd row leg space is really very disappointing... Why you need a third row? Make some comfortable seating area in 2nd row and keep the third row space for luggage..
Put the second row on silders. Push the 3rd row bucket seats closer, so that our feet are free from the wheels. These are basic things, how they didn't test this out is shocking.
Is Force Motor Considering to do something about the middle seat, I was planning to buy this when launched, but the seat is really bad, I am hoping that Force will soon fix or give seat option, the 7 seater is to compact, I would have loved 5 door 4/5 seats with extra boot space.
Powerdrift is back at its best 👌 don't leave this guy. He is going to keep the channel alive❤. That last part where the turbo spools is where my tears rolled down in listening to pure orgasam🎉
This car have everything i want from a off roader even more than enough to be honest...... That screen is not necessary accha hoga ki acchi quality ka android system ya infotainment system lgao aftermarket
Force gurkha ki batching symbol boonet par aur force ka symbol centre mey dena chaiye tha lekin force company ko mallum hai ki gurkha koi buy nahi karta public competitive stunts ke liye car market mey uttar te hai...
I am not a fan of SUVs but I definitely appreciate what Force has done. Nowadays we are treating our cars like mobile phones, which it isn’t. I wish manufacturers bring back the good old hatchbacks like the 1st gen Swift.
Nice , Indias Original G Wagon . Although with the modern bits they should have retained the Knobs to move from off road options. Good Job Force motors .
I am fan of this Indian version of G-Wagon and and will always remain that. But iski sound mujhe truck k sound ki yaad dila di😅 n mujhe koi dikkat ni h coz ye full on raw SUV h😎
Thar is more Practical, Useful and Convenient as compared to Gurkha. Thar has come up with different Options, Choices, Mahindra Service Center is better. Gurkha service center, Customer Service is not that great. I think they are mostly focusing on heavy vehicles than customer SuV
Beautiful car no doubt in this . Spacious car no doubt in it but why force can't provide steering switch why they can't get good plastic why can't they get good seating arrangements even with so much of area I. The car . I am angry at force for just not doing that minute effort.
I think im gonna buy this cause this is a secondary car . So we will not carry 8ppls max to max 4-5 ppls so i gonna remove the back seat n push the mid row a little back which i think this will be the best .
@@christophercolumbusmlg9354 2 easy fixes in my eyes - 5 seater option with a sliding and recline middle row or middle row captain seats for the 7 seater
@@Farhan_049 it's your choice brother I have not forced you to hear it. If you think it's like trapped mosquito.. please prefer a maruti car. Maybe that will suit your character and requirements
I'd always prefer a car with old school approach. The more electronics something has the more it's likely to go bad. The rough, rugged feel this provides is what gives it the character. Same goes for hatchbacks or saloons, punchy engine preferably NA, great steering feel and that's it, there's always a workaround for electronics but there's no workaround for a great drive.
@@carswithkaran Yep, most people don't know that, they just want the best features and a lackluster drive or straightline speed. There's a reason why those old Esteem, Zen, City, Civic are so fun to drive still specially on mountain roads.
Sure. This thing doesn’t have pesky electronics and it might be the most mechanical car on sale today in the whole world but it will constantly leak oil and break down.
Best option is to remove both second and third row seats and install two captain seats like carnival or vellfire and then its done offroad car with best comfort seats for second row seats and enjoyable drive quality for drivers ❤❤❤
I don't think this car even compares to jimny or thar. This car is beast in itself. People who love to grab attention with their jeeps and have money to spare should definitely get the force
Some thoughts on 5 door - Remove the 3rd row. (Makes boot bigger than midsize SUVs) - Make 2nd Row adjustable for legroom. It looks so unusable. (Main priority for people) - Give better seats like the segment currently has instead of those decade old ones - Make it more modern with features & soft touch materials for the price its asking. (Creta, seltos feel waaay better) - Improve NVH. - remove that incredibly cheap head mounted ac unit & go for more modern approach. If acted upon this it would have been amazing for imo many people to sway in its direction.
It's not for city rats 🐀. It's for adventure enthusiasts and gimmick lovers are not ghurka target audience . So be happy with your fwd toys and play games in big screens and ac 😂😂😂😂and also your automatic stick😂
@@401aksh keyboard warriors at it again. When did i say i want every feature from them ? Take Ineos offroader from UK, it has successfully applied its no compromise rugged with modern interiors that doesnt feel outdated. My points about seats & its config, cheap ac unit & super bad decade old plastics still stand true. Go learn a bit about the international & now coming to the same level indian market where even if a car is outstanding offroad it will not sell with its poorly implemented interiors. Go look & feel a wrangler, bronco or even indian jimny 5door which feels miles better than this objectively worse interiors.
1 & 2 i completely agree, and I feel seats are good enough for what it is. All necessary modern features are available in our pockets today, so not gonna ask for gimmicks that can break when going off the beaten path, a car like this must have only the essential features that will survive an apocalypse. The NVM again is personal choice, a few people people like me love those raw rattles and the diesel whistle. Those too can be removed using after market products and smart mods anyway. And considering the AC works like a charm, why go from something that works really well to something 'modern' just for the sake of it?
Every thing is 💯 but again steering ➖️ 🫠disappointed yei must need change thaa ,travler sai Lai kar tuffan tak or Gurkha same , force motors know about everything where they fails but not learning from there mistake
The third row seats can be removed if you want more bootspace👍. Add a proper lift kit, Dr.Nano or MMG, 32 or 33 inches tall offroad tyres, front and rear steel offroad bumpers, a tyre carrier, winch and recovery gear. You're good to go.
@@carswithkaran if a 32 inch tall tyre can be fitted without a lift kit, that'll be great. However, at least a 1 inch lift kit can clear upto a 33 inch tall tyre.
Atleast Force Motors has geniune pricing for what it offers and they actually took customer feedback. They are not cheating people like Maruti did with Jimny.
Would love to watch people actually converting/modifying it into G wagon, replacing the headlights and rearlights and removing the luggage carrier from top, removing third row etc..
This is the problem with Force motors, they messed up second row and third row is anyway not much used. Thar is ready with 5 door option, they execute smartly.
A true Man, who just like being behind the steering wheel instead of sitting back , will definitely love thE GURKHA.. It has become more appealing than earlier with the increase in power and torque this has become more likeable... But as it is said, this is still not for everyone, but those who will opt this SUV is really special.. because this SUV has got special characters..
Looks like it’s already lost considering second row. Just don’t get the logic of keeping second row cramped and no sliding arrangement. It could have been a good 5 seater with lots of luggage space making it a good long ride vehicle.
Please don't use the Feild Marshal Manekshaws dialogue on Gurkha. He only meant to say so for Indian Gorkhas with an O and not the British Gurkha with a U.... It means a lot. Damn it.
@axel3895 Yes we're Indian Gorkha so is Force and Field Marshal Manekshaw was mlre Indian than what we are i guess. The U is for colonial one unless this was a British vehicle.
broooiiii there so many places i reconize in this video, there the feild next to the highway where the car is seen drifting its very close to my house OwO this is sooo cool!!!!!! i hope someday i get to meet the power drift team!!!
Ah.. That rear AC vents are some of the cheapest plastics I have ever seen in an automobile. The finishing of body panels are painstakingly poor and very much like a commercial vehicle - likes of the Ashok Leyland Dhost or Tempo Traveller. Force needs scale up their quality levels, at least similar to Ineos Grenadier.
@@jayanthmakam4547 the text titles do mention its a 2.6-litre diesel, 140hp and 320Nm - four cylinders, the basic engine is like a 1970-80s Mercedes Benz design which has been heavily updated over the years to meet emission norms. Not refined for sure, but its part of the car’s character - hope this helps!
@@jayanthmakam4547suspension details also in supers in the video, front suspension has become independent now which has helped given it better approach and departure angles compared to the 2021 Gurkha
They messed up with the second row, a little more legroom would have been highly appreciated. And we don't need a 3rd row on a hardcore 4x4 Suv like gurkha, that's totally unnecessary. Interior could have been a bit more modern, it's like 20 years older or so.... After all people will pay close to 20 lakhs.
WOW Love that turbo spool, reminds me of My Safari Storme. By the way, I can imagine and foresee lot of buyers removing the last row, and pushing the middle row a bit backwards, as a retromod. Force can easily launch a 5door variant with more middle row space too.
