🔔Do you think revamping Ford Ranchero can be as successful as revamping Ford Maverick? 🤔 🔴2024 Ford Maverick Blows Away the Competition WATCH HERE ➜ ➜ 👉ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t6bfF0XQlks.html
I've got a 22 Maverick FX4. Gets 27 in mixed driving and 33 hiway. Perfectly happy with that. Fords record with 3 banger motors is less than good. Don't care how efficient it is if it won't last. Quite happy with what have. Strikes an excellent balance.
If you're going to base a name from a classic, RESEMBLE IT! I grew up driving a 1962 Falcon Ranchero and loved it! 289 ci & three on the tree. Make these like the Mustang!
So an even smaller vehicle with an even smaller bed and four doors. Sounds like what Ford would do. Oh, I almost forgot, an even smaller weaker power plant! I can't see how this could go wrong. I'm glad they aren't actually doing this. Because I have seen NOTHING from Ford talking about this truck.
Then you'll be glad to hear that it will be two doors with a longer bed and cheaper than the maverick. It will decrease demand on the maverick. Win/Win for ford
Ford could easily ramp up production of the Maverick, but they choose not to because it doesn't make them enough money. Low profit margins. They would rather build more F150's and have them sit on the dealer lots unsold
Ford is making a big mistake with this little compact pickup the ranchero is is a bona fide ute(Aussie speak for a car /truck bace type vehicle ( AKa Fairlane,Falcon,Torino ,LTD II based convergtion type niche marketable vehicle). The Maverick already fits the bills that size class requirement utility wise . Ford is doing this because they don't have a niche RWD car platform (except for the Mustang which is not expandable wheelbase) so the guy 's at marking think that a Escape- based platform will attract young urban hipster looking for a souped up tonka " "Lifestyle Truck" or a group of hard hat utility guys that are looking for a cheap work "truck " with limited room and towing capacity. Again I feel that this vehicle will fail to find the desired sales demographic that they are looking for. It a contradicts both the marketing Target that they're trying to attract for this crowd . The rancheros should be car based not just another small truck and it should be ( suitable size for an urban type of lifestyle the way the previous models were .( Remember ....for those of you who were around back in the 80s Chrysler attempted to do exactly the same thing with the Dodge rampage 024/ L-Body Omni/ Charger based UTE) and it was not that successful.
The latest bronco is the best looking vehicle ford has made in a long time. It would make sense for ford to produce a variety of compact trucks with similar styling. Just my humble opinion
I don't understand the infatuation with these little trucks. There's less interior room than a small SUV and you can't safely and securely secure things like groceries. Most truck beds are empty 95% of the time. The SUV design makes a lot more sense to me.
It's because Ford doesn't build a car anymore (except the Mustang) and all their existing trucks cost way too much. Ford has no product for the mass market.
Well , there are a few reasons . You can haul a couple of bikes in the back , haul trash to the dump , sleep in the back , sit in the back and watch the kids play etc etc. For people that want something a car can do , and much more . But don't do "off roading " but need to haul things . It is a great option !! They need to make them " on frame " though IMO .
Vote Trump 2024 and drive your old Rancheros with 351 Cleveland engines and if tuned and driven right still get 25-30 mpg. I work for a living give me an AM/FM radio, rubber floor mats and enough HP to pull 1,000 lbs on the trailer
