Such gorgeous inks!!!! Yes, I see it! LOL. All my TWSBI Ecos with Diamine Shimmertastic inks are Extra Fine. No issues. My pastel pink Eco has always had a shimmertastic ink and that's when I realized it can take shimmery inks. So exciting. 😍😍😍
@fountainpensinksmore3290 Oh Jane, such lovely inks to choose from! I especially love the Lilac Satin and the Van Dieman's Le Grande Jeté; that's a ballet move and when performed by Mikhail Baryshnikov is just spectacular. No one could jump and cover space like he could. The Lost Love Letters reminds me of Diamine Weeping Willow from the 2023 Inkvent but in opposite color dominance. Weeping Willow goes down brown but after it dries, some green shows up, whereas the Lost Love Letters goes down green but as it dries that rusty-brown begins to show up. I really like the Cobalt Jazz when it is wet, but when it is dry the bright intensity goes away, which is a bit of a bummer for me. I have really good luck with shimmer inks in my Kawecos because I get them in broad or double broad, and I can easily pull the nibs to do a real thorough cleaning that allows me to get behind the nib and feed. I know so many people put shimmer inks in their TWSBI ECOs, but I am still loathe to pull those nibs because the sections could still crack even though they have improved upon that problem immensely in the past couple of years. Plus I refill those itty-bitty Kaweco cartridges that don't hold much ink, so that enables me to change inks quite often although my Kaweco Sage is permanently inked with Wearingeul Path, which I think is my favorite ink of all time. Glad to hear you are well!!
