The first 15 minutes off my skin I got Roja dove elysium parfum cologne with added mandarin orange! After that the floral are there but mostly the vetiver notes" once it start to dry down I get pretty much Roja dove elysium parfum cologne with more vetiver
Hmm .I received the bottle earlier this week bought it directly at the pdm store in paris and i gotva very very dominant vetiver note right after the Grapefruit opening and i personally find this onebmuch better than sedly and galloway ( which give me headache) and greenley which is to generic for me so you can see how taste can be different and everybody getest different notes. As you said you dont get a intense vetiver. For me its more dominant than the Grapefruit ( I have 5 or 6 vetiver fragrances in my collection)
Just grabbed this one at a price too good to pass up and so glad I did. If you love any of the Terre De Hermes fragrances then this will blow you away. It's initial blast of Grapefruit with vetiver makes it wonderful and perfect for the high heat. I dare to say even in the cooler weather it will shine as well. If you do not like vetiver then you will not enjoy this one. The dry down has a woody and almost spice accord. LOVE IT !!
Just got this a few days ago. To me it smells very similar to TDH and Elysium. So if you’re a fan of those two and that kind of scent profile you will enjoy this one
Great suit and tie match! Thanks for being so candid about the fragrance. Lots of hype but not available at Luck Scent etc.. Anything like YSL Opium Homme or Oud for Happiness? Some of the notes sound like those.
Great review! Most accurate I have seen online. Bought this as blind buy, not sure I would have, had I sampled. Like your review, think it is a “ like “ more than “ love “ . Greenley is still my favorite of the fresh scents from PDM . For me this fragrance seems like it is missing a note.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and impression. That’s a bit disappointing if the fragrance is not well rounded. But I do mean a bit disappointing as some fragrances from PDM share an overall vice and could even be a flanker of a previous PDM. How is the longevity of Greenley? My local Nordstrom didn’t have Greenley for me to sample.
@@caseyplunkett6083 on my skin does pretty well, it is still a freshy but does well in my view. I always get compliments when I wear Greenley and I notice it more throughout the day. To me it’s more interesting than Sedley or Percival which I also own and wear. I work in an office so it is noticeable throughout the day.
Great to see an honest review, Pdm last releases are so disappointing, bland, clones or easy crowd pleasing designer style. And this one is clone 1:1 of Hermes eau Givree at 4 times the price
I actually think this is going to be staple in the PDM line. Wearable year round with a lean towards the spring & summer, unique, and fresh. Exceptional fragrant.
This was the most honest review I've seen so far. The other reviewers have been a little misleading, and one who I won't name was completely off. Long story short, SAMPLE this 1st. The dry down is more of a bitter vetiver bomb. This isn't touching sedley, aventus, or aventus Cologne in terms of likeability, versatility, and overall pleasantness.
I bought a 75ml. As a 42 year old male, 191 cm tall and a lot of tattoos, I have always naturally worn heavier and more maskuline scents. But this spring and summer i have went down a citrus and floral route. My most worn fragrance this summer is D&G Summer Vibes for women and Chanel Allure Edition Blanche. And Perseus is also light, citrus and floral and i love it. So cool to go outside my normal path and still discover new style of scents i love wearing. Love the content!!
Got my decant yesterday and little disapointent. While Saspiros Basso was like boring version of Hermes Terre d"hermes Parfum. Then this is like do some aditional steps from that to middle of Roja Elysium Cologne Parfum. There is some underlighned sweetnes that realy botters me in this. Totaly not anything like Vbrato or Tygar or Kajal 3
Let me tell you the part of Fragrance classification is out of this world… hope you do it in all your videos .. thanks for being so specific in your description of the fragrances … just perfect
Thank you Max; appreciate the honest review. It sounds interesting but the description of it turning feminine makes me hesitant. Have you ever done a video ranking all the scents from Parfum de Marly?
I tested this out today and was disappointed. It reminded me of the grapefruit all purpose cleaner I used at home lol. I much prefer Sedley and greenly for freshies from this house. Those are way better in my opinion.
