@@Anonymous-wt4lx since April I’ve been running two on the xad15 5k amp. These sound great and hit hard but I think the v2 was more efficient on lower power. These are pretty stiff and took a while to break in. Did 151db kick score on two and mid 140s on music all day. Fs is 26 after break in. These like the lows. I’ve posted about them on my channel a bit.

I'm an old audio head, had a type r, can't remember the Amp I used but it never got hot, would love to know a good old head beginner set up haha, really fell in love with alpine.
What exactly is new about the voice coil? Did they use something other than aluminum wire before? Or is the only difference being the color? Because I thought the old one had a 3 inch as well.
We chose foam because of the performance. While we love the look of a sleek rubber surround, performance matters, and the foam we selected performs better.
Yea I seen the 10 on website it has a smaller motor less rms n just dont look like 12 n 15 it has a way smaller motor so I dont think the 10 got upgraded
@@soldieroftafari There was/is some confusion on the VCW10 that we released. The new V3 10" is on it's way. Given the subwoofer series has been selling successfully, we opted for a rolling change and kept the name the same. The new 10s will be released with the improved surround and power handling. The current one is discounted to reflect. Thank you for your attention to detail!

We think it is hip hip hooray more than a whoopedy doo given a) the price is unchanged despite manufacturing price increases b) it's still the same series and c) just wait until you see our XPL series we are working on!
@@jesusbadenajb Our research and testing on the XPL line will be a long process as we strive to achieve a quality SPL subwoofer at the best price possible while sounding amazing. As you can expect, there will be a lot of time to put in to be sure everything is tip top before release.
