The blue wagtail rubber didn't last very long for me. The red rubber game changer for me but the bag I got of blue rubber used it up faster than any other rubber well not the black rubbers from Lowe's or home depot now those are what I have to use when I run out which isn't very often
I think Byron deserves a shout out here as his innovation with the pad clips has probably fuelled an improved design. Also notice the pad has a stitch down the middle which makes it act like a piano hinge. This will aid in it not bunching up as much. I’ve found this really useful to do to pads especially when flipping over the top, and very useful when doing 2-3 storey pole work.
Nice. Yes the sew down they middle is the business. Byron is in my group but says it's almost there but needs to be 180 degrees. 🤔It seems to work find for me though. Then again,I'm not your average window cleaner,and neither is Willie,or was. 👊🏾
I have a flipper that never used had trouble with the pad. My favorite is the high flyer I've had it for many years and have a video of my very first day. I believe it's a 7inch or 10inch. Its the first squeegee I bought off ebay. The best squeegee for every window above front doors 🚪 100% use the little highflyer every time.
Great advice as always. Will that flipper pad work on high flyer? High flyer is my favorite tool for doing insides because I can keep it in one hand and wipe up cloth in the other.
