The thing that makes these videos work is max0r's calm, almost monotone voice. If his voice was as frantic and high energy as his editing, it would actually be unbearably overwhelming.
My favorite part of watching new Max0r reactors is seeing how long it takes them to pause the video to process what the heck just happened. I feel like I could've written an essay about the info we got in those *_19 seconds._*

Max0r is a hybrid of human and editing software. Watching parts 2 and 3 is highly recommended as his skills only get better. If however you'd like to see what happens when he goes mad just watch his ultrakill videos. Random max0r fact: every 8 hours of work he does editing results in just 30 to 45 seconds of actual footage.
Max0r uploads between 4 and 6 times per year and whenever he uploads one of the most common reactions I've noticed is "ahh yes, I was about overdue for my next epileptic seizure!" His editing is just too much, but in a good way! I've watched his part 1 of Elden Ring around 10 times in total and every time you notice something new, so I can recommend checking it out a 2nd time in your own time to see what I mean
28:00 You don't have to worry about copyrighted music in reactions to Max0r vids, especially with the newer videos. He has mentioned encountering copyright issues with music in the past; to avoid this he uses video game music, specifically gacha game tracks, which hardly if ever get struck. Long story short, most gacha companies spend a very pretty penny on absurdly high-quality music production as a form of advertisement to draw people to their games, whether it's to try and get people to play them or react to content related to them (and hopefully get those people to play them haha) - and so they don't copyright claim their songs' use. And to be fair it works - I have tried and still play the game the song playing during the timestamp is from, because of that part in the video (that and the song playing during the Morgott fight in Max0r's part 2 vid, a track I can only describe as 'gospel EDM'). And as a related aside - holy shit gacha game's music is ridiculously good. IDK what they're smoking, but those music studios are just built different lol.

Glad you enjoyed it, and don't be afraid to pause it (at least in my opinion) if you want to say stuff because some words may get lost in the barrage of memes. Though, now I really hope you get into Bloodborne just so you can experience his Bloodborne video, I think you'll enjoy that one a lot. 35:14 / 35:25 - And, yes, that's why the community often calls him General Chadahn. He's singlehandedly holding back the stars, loves his horse too much to always float slightly above him, and absolutely fucking up everyone he sees within range, all while having severe brain rot. He's simply built different. Although, if it pleases you, when modders pit Radahn and Malenia against each other, majority of the time Malenia beats Radahn. So in-game, Malenia wins. Lore-wise, they're about even, they are respectively considered the greatest warriors of their time. I highly recommend VaatiVidya's videos on demigods, and of course on Malenia. Some fascinating stuff you'll learn about Malenia, and some bits about Miquella (Miquella is one of the more mysterious figures in Elden Ring actually).

Plus a great ruler, since Radagon's time as an Elden Lord, he keeps getting compared to Godfrey. Basically, Godfrey's an all-around top G. Tough but gentle, ruthless but fair, a raging slab of hardened meat that could still conduct himself as a proper lord. Marika definitely chose a good husband.

Max0r's Elden Ring is 3 parts as of now, Part 2 is The King & The Serpent and Part 3 is Blood & Fire. Also Max0r is his own editor, the man is part Editor Software. Also the series is not finished, there's gonna be a Part 4 but we don't know when, as his next video is gonna be about Armored Core VI. He also has a spoiler filled review of Bloodborne btw.
If you're confused about the Blaidd scenes, basically pitbulls are commonly known for being aggressive and have a bad reputation for harming and potentially killing children. So the joke is playing off Blaidd being a dog and thus wants to eat kids. I'm sure you've noticed already but Maxor's humour is often quite morbid.

Part 1: the moon and stars Part 2: the king and the serpent Part 3: blood and fire Part 4 is gonna happen but not for a little while. It takes like 2-3 months per video and he's doing one on a different game before he does Part 4. So give or take 4-6 months after the release of blood and fire.

Max0r's editing is legendary, and you're watching the ones that he's dialed back a bit on and exercised more restraint, they used to be a LOT more chaotic.
So what im hearing is she hates the radahn fight because of skill issues. But in all seriousness, radahns fight is kinda funny because Souls game boss fight are typically fast-paced; whereas he has some of, if not the slowest and most telegraphed attacks, completely throwing you off the rhythm that youve become accustomed to.
If you pay attention he'll sometimes mention or briefly show on screen how long the production process takes him. He doesn't often but he's mentioned a single boss fight taking four days and the first ten minutes of a video taking a full month.
@beckachuu I remember video from another animator who originally planned to make a video explaining every edit in the first minute of this video, and he was also recreating those edits to show the time and technical know-how it required. However, he ended up only doing the first 10 seconds, and it was still a 30-minute video. A 2-hour process unedited. Not to mention Max0r scripting, planning, and recording both gameplay footage and voice-over audio.

Nope I’m German! Grew up and still living in Germany. My childhood best friend is british so I grew up surrounded by native speakers. We also visiting the uk at least once a year. That‘s where I got my accent from. Good guess tho!
