I have the FX Streamline in grey laminate and couldn't be happier with it. Any target shooting with it at less than 40 yards is BORING. It's so consistent, very well - balanced and polished, the trigger system is truly match grade (9 oz true double stage, fully customizable), the power wheel is great, which works great with the shot count and regulator, the cocking lever is buttery smooth, even the safety is adjustable, smooth and predictable. I just couldn't ask for anything better. And now FX somehow manages to surpass my wildest dreams by making a fully modular Streamline version; "the Dreamline." FX is the best airgun company today.

Always a pleasure to watch your channel. In my opinion the best most informative reviews in the business. I hope most people understand there's a lot more to it than playing with all the newest airguns. That said I'm sure most of us are a bit jealous, LOL. Great job, thank you.

I have one request to FX Steve. Kindly ask them to add the feature of removal air cylinder. Having a fixed air cylinder is killng the modular concept. I would love to have a Dreamline having flexibility to add a cf bottle or aluminium cylinder. Great video, excellent quality. You are an inspiration.

@@AEAC Was thinking the same the whole video lol. Adding an arrow barrel kit wouldn't hurt either, it's nice to have pcps that can take you from small-medium game to big game in a matter of minutes like the vermanitor and royale. Just a thought tho, you know DREAMing...

I have been on the fence about PCPs because of the initial investment in rifle and equipment. I think the once the dreamline is on shelves I'm going to take the plunge. My first will be .25 in the streamline style stock, or maybe a laminate bullpup, or I could get a .177 barrel liner as well to use my massive stock of pellets, but the field target stock looks super slick and I don't want to neglect the standard version so then I'll..... Good lord, what have I done...

A magazine-fed underlever gas piston/pump pneumatic repeater would be better. Considering FX's expertise in PCP designs, and the fact they recently introduced a PCP/pump hybrid, it makes the best sense to go for a repeating fixed-barrel design over a single-shot break-barrel one.

I think the concept is absolutely awesome. My wife would love for me to have one of these guns. Just for the fact that it has so many capabilities I wouldn't have to own so many. Lol! It would take up less space. But I'm the kind of guy.... That spends a lot of time matching the perfect scope for the right rifle and finding what pellet works the best. And then I'm done. When I want to kill something I go to my Arsenal and pick out the best one for the job. I'm not saying you can't own more than one air rifle. But if I did just own one that could do everything..... But in a hunting or testing aspect.... I would lose my mind if I had to replace Barrel re-dope my scope. That works if you're on a hunting trip or a planned hunt. It doesn't work so well if you need to go grab a gun to dispatch something very quickly. I'm loving the videos that you've been posting and I'm glad to see you back online.

I just noticed that the bullpup version/wildcat version now has an open area for the mag. That now means that the mag won't be limited to that 8 shot anymore. More a long the lines of 16-18 shot! YAY!

Good review on a new gun and a new concept. All major brand air guns should pick up on this Idea,instead of buying a gun, then looking for aftermarket parts.( nothing wrong with aftermarket parts) The new Marauder is doing something similar,but nothing like this.The Name fits it,Dream of what you want,and there it is. I'll be waiting for a shooting review on this one,and I hope FX sends you different barrels for it.

I am a fairly new air gunner and bought a FXStreamline a few months ago. Long story short it has a trigger design issue and freezes up around every 30 50 pellets. I called fx and they talked me through releasing it and it kept happening. I had my first hunt planned over the weekend and lost the spring fiddling with the hang up. My trip was cancelled 2 hours before leaving due to the issue. Apparently this is a known issue and there is a fix but I was not informed when I called. I also heard today the streamline is being discontinued in favor of dreamline after a year. I have a crown synthetic on preorder and will be canceling that. I feel let down by FX

Is it bad that dying to know what Joerg is discussing with FX in terms of the crossbow style airguns they have? That dude has quite the design engineering mindset and I'm curious to see if any FX guns are going to start showing up on his channel. That being said, this Dreamline looks like quite the airgun.

Whatever FX Dreamline should be available by now in market, When exactly are we getting FX Dreamline in FX USA or Air Depot ? FX says Coming 2018 and in IWA 2018 JON from FX says we can get FX Dreamline Base model in summer propably June than in my first query FX Airguns reply I can get FX Dreamline in last part of October or first part of November than in my second query they say again in early December and now some says mid January, How much lies FX Airguns are going to pour to the Airgunner ?

Steve, am I correct in thinking that the hammers spring wheel is not fitted when it is in "streamline" and "Wildcat" modes ?

Paul Cormack Correct Paul. No hammer spring or externally adjustable reulator ability on the Wildcat & Streamline. Streamline has an externally adjustable transfer port dial. Wildcat has neither. Best, Steve

Airgun Exploration & Advancement Channel Pretty sure he was referring to the Dreamline gun but in the sporter stock (streamline) and bullpup (wildcat) configuration. Not the actual streamline and wildcat. It doesn’t appear there are dials on the Dreamline in those configurations. I would like to know this as well.

Airguns world revolution most renowned air rifle would be only when a Airguns with a Springer, Nitro Piston or Gas Piston with side lever as smooth as like FX Impact with a large capacity magazine and not PCP because has lot of accessories, mantainence etc

Steve. It gets confusing. It seems that your saying that you can change caliber by simply changing barrel liners.(and prob) From everything that I read, that is not the case. Different liners can change twist rate, and chok, but to change caliber, the barrel sleeve, (everything) including the shroud has to be purchased new. Just like the standard Smooth twist barrel. Then new liners with different twist rates Ect. can be purchased for that caliber. Is this correct?

Don`t forget,you`ll also need new magazine to match the caliber when switching.

George B Depending on the gun, the caliber can be altered too. In some cases you'll need to buy the larger shroud with the insert/liner but the new insert will come with the corresponding bolt probe. That's how I understand it anyhow. Best, Steve

Good to see you back on Steve but you know that was nice what's nice about the Streamline gun it's not complicated you guys are making everything too complicated twist this twist that the best thing I would think is try to keep it not complicated and keep it easy that's what was nice about the Streamline airgun you had no all of these adjustments it come with the regulator you loaded it up you sighted in but I guess for people that want to Tinker around with everything I guess that's the way to go but that's not me I like to load them shoot them suydam in and keep everything simple

Im sure they will be low low Quality...just doesn't make any since to have the dreamline with the same Internals as the fx impact or the Crown for half the price!! personally im goin to Practices patience on this one...let them work out the kinks...FX seems to push out new guns left & right...i bought a 25 cal FX wildcat and one month later here comes the Wildcat mk2 without notice...I'm like WTF!! But I'm happy with my Wildcat...i just wish the made liners for the first generation FX wildcat...

Okay, so when do we get access to this machine. End of March was hinted at, then it was April, now it's the middle of May and still not even a sniff of anything, no posts, no updates, no new hype, no pre-order availability... There are other guns out there FX and this money isn't going to sit in my pocket much longer.
