New Galvanized Mods! Galvanized Steel, Galvanized Prowess and Galvanized Coil! Warframe 

Funny that Warframe hid this on the update page a bit and never talked about it on stream 😂

Now that we have Galvanized Steel it's only a matter of time until we get Little John Prime and his signature weapon, Screws from his aunt, along with his melee weapon eco friendly wood veneers

You said the prowess mod might go to 165 but that is comparing a status chance mod to a primed status damage mod, if it follows the pattern of galvanized mods values, it will have less status chance, but a stacking buff on kill

The last thing I expected was to get more Galvanized Mods, I welcome more of them especially for melee.

The heavy attack one will be good for the Jade Scythe melee if u build it for its passive. Saw a nasty build of this the other day.

I think galvanized coil is going to be the best. You know why? Because it’s gonna have some dumbass second effect that’s gonna like double status/heavy attack damage per every step you walked in the mission.

I think the 3 galvanized mods are going really hard into heavy attacks since I can't really see why else they would do True Steel and Melee Prowess.

165% stat chance on top of a riven with 105% stat chance plus four 60/60 elemental mods on this Dark Sword gonna be crazy work.

I think this is kind of unneccessary considering how strong melee already is; i thought the galv mods were to help primary and secondary catch up to melee. BUT it will be funny :>

So for the galvinized status chance (which im assuming comes with the condition overload) will that make Condition overload irrelevant, or will the galvinized be weaker?

Funny. Galvanized mods were introduced because other weapons couldn't keep up with melee. Now melee is getting galvanized mods because melee couldn't keep up.

Bro Rifle aptidute gives us %90 status chance and galvanized version gives us %80. Galvanized versions gives us less base stats but gives us more thing with stacks. For example galvanized shot gives us damage with stacks.

Kinda hoping Galvanized Prowess is like Condition Overload + Melee Prowess, where it just adds extra damage per status type on top of the status chance. It would be nice to be able to simplify builds by not needing CO to get big damage on status builds, and allow more versatility for hybrid builds.

Reflex Coil got killed by Focus Energy and Focus Radon. The efficiency is nice if you miss a Tennokai window but free damage on top of the efficiency makes current Reflex Coil dead on arrivial for end-game builds.

I think the big thing is gonna be what other extra thing comes with something like GalvCoil for example...

While galvanized mods tend to have a mechanic. 7/9 have on kill buff an two on headshot. Greating more on kill heahshots. So these mods will likely have similar mechanic. That was slightly lower the original start but ultimately give us more. Also i do build heavily attacks efficiency. Useing the electric and radiation ones. For some builds. Pair with melee influence or melee affliction. Easy to maintain Max combo. I have the liberty of doing a heavy whenever you need to without waiting on tenoki even over disciplines merit. For other better one or something else like dispatched overdrive doesn't get a lot of use. Buck and be fun

reflex coil ideally gives 90% at the end, it might end up less and stack based on kills since galvanized mods usually are lower stats than base mods. DE could also just completely go off script with these galvanized melee mods and give us something like Naramon decaying combo with a mod or something that increase combo duration. That would be my optimistic take.

Assuming that Galvanized [Square] Steel have similar mechanics to other galvanized mods it may still be worse in standard build than sacrificial steel. It all depends on what's the catch for this one and how high bonuses stack.

I´m confused why you didn´t look at the other Galvanized mods. They all have a gimmick of stacking stats on kills. It´s very likely that we get some Crit-stats on kill, scaling above sacrificial Steel eventually. Or, cuz we got a combo efficiency mod; we get more crit chance and status chance with combos, replacing or stacking the old ones mechanic´s. Same with status chance.

But why is there no Galvanised Laser sight,rifles and pistols have have the headshot->crit mods, but not shotguns??

Would loved to see a galvanized: serration: increase attack by 145% and on kill increase attack by 15-25% stacks up to 5 times Voltage/infernal/toxin: Increase element damage by 60% and on kill increase element atk by 10-20% stacks up to 5 times

Reflex coil likely gonna be a dual use mod with efficiency and wind up speed which will be still gud

So Galvanized Split Chamber starts you with less multishot then Split Chamber but each kill gives a stack to the point you get more Multishot with Galvanized Split Chamber. So something like Galvanized Melee Prowess would start you with less status chance than Melee Prowess but each kill would give you stacks for more Status Chance with Galvanized Melee Prowess. But would it outclass Weeping Wounds, which stacks status chance with melee combo counter? Would both mods stack ir be exclusive to each other for balance reasons. The other side is the Galvanized Gun status mods give base damage per status effect but Condition Overload already does that for melee weapons. So if Galvanized Prowess were to give damage per status on kill and not status chance per kill, i wonder how it would work with Condition Overload.

If you use magistar in 12x combo and wukong, and love to spam heavy attack. Its a definitely important mod

I think it really all depends on the buffs that we get. Prowess may be a nice way to built base damage if it follows the same idea as the primary and secondary ones. steel could be interesting like depending on the additional we get. reflex coil is the only one i am like the buff is gonna need to be really good to use this

This is how I know you play mainly from afar. Your a stat guy right? Look at stats for melee weapons --> Always higher DPS --> Slide Attacks + Slam Attacks + Heavy Attacks. with efficiency and naramon school, and a few other mods for the frontline playstyle, and you can swing away for massive damage.

Now that we have tennokai heavy attack efficiency is kind of niece, gun blades, mainly corufell

Reflex coil gonna be killing on glaives and gunblades

...or wait until the update drops to use resourceful retriever (18% chance of double resources deimos mod for beasts) to farm vitus essence xD

The heavy attack efficiency could be useful to wukong slam builds I guess

Heavy attack efficiency... either you build for combo, so almost no heavy, only for heavies, which is base combo, so also don't care about efficiency, or you use the Tennokai, which doesn't cost any combo, who knows what will that mod do 🤷‍♂, also heavy efficiency is capped at 90%, they might add it something really unique

Why are you comparing galvanized to primes the have on kill effects some times not boosting the main stat galvanized aptitude gives Slightly less stars chance but gives damage per status effect comparing to primes dosnt make sense

All of those have to have secondary effects, otherwise they are pointless, just as the normal mods are

Galvanized Coil is useless, and for me especially, I have a Heavy attack build for the Corufell that I use almost on every Warframe I have except the one that I save up to master other melee weapons. Honestly, the Corufell is such an underrated weapon, God Eater fans are probably in Cloud 9 when they get their hands on it. I have a budget build because I don't have patience to upgrade every mod in my collection but orange 400k+ damage on almost every second heavy attack (which is an AoE projectile damage btw) is nuts with the basic and scrificial mods
