No it reminds me more about the budapest gambit, but the fajorwicz variation. g5 is also a sideline in the budapest too.

A5 defense works if white plays E3 before Knight D2 which is a common move for white in this position because the idea is to have the bishop on D3 to immediately capitalize on the opening of the H file. In London lines the B knight is often last to develop because it is sometimes unclear wether it goes to D2 or C3. Otherwise great stuff I really enjoyed this video.

According to my database, 3.-e5 was first played in 2008 in the game Reichel,Jonathan - Strunski,Andreas / German U18 Internet championship.

Dear Mister Graif, After the romantic, modern and hypermodern period. You bring chess into a new era: the hyper romantic era. Gold content.

Can we transpose into these ideas vs the London, where they play Nf3?

Seems like mining the databases and using the computer for confirmation makes these gambits much more plausible. In days past, you would have to play your move and hope that your home analysis was accurate. With the computer you know it is accurate. Perhaps this is the new direction of chess...seems like it anyway.

What a great variation! White would be well advised to avoid this by playing the Bh4 or h4 variations.

have you ever looked at the Krejcik Gambit? Against the dutch defence? I made a couple videos on it on this channel a lot of times you can win in less than 12 moves

At 10.00 in, you claim that white loses his Bishop, with g5, be5 then f6 for black wins the Bishop, white anti has f3 attacking the Knight on e4, so white wins the Knight and doesn't lose a piece etc.
