New Game Mode: Conquest! Take over the sector with your faction in offline multiplayer first-person RTS (BattleGroupVR)
Hi everyone! Been working on a new game mode for my VR RTS game - conquest! Which is an offline multiplayer mode where you battle for territory on a shared world map. Players gain resources for controlling sectors and can build upgrades in that sector to aid their faction. Other allies can help improve and maintain controlled sectors and you can defend and attack enemy player fleets. Still work in progress but available to try in the early access: store.steampowered.com/app/11...
Feel free to ask any questions, it's a tad complicated so this was a very brief overview. Let me know if you had any thoughts and suggestions! Thanks again for all the support!

Dude, I bought your game and it is nothing short of impressive. It's amazing how well you got the mechanics and controls of VR and made a truly innovative and engaging game. My deepest congratulations. Better yet, you did not use any specially proprietary library or DRM/anticheat stuff like DeNuvo or EAC, so it is working perfectly with no shortcomings on Linux, which is what I use.

If you added, “status report all ships” as a voice command and had each ship tell you their current read outs on power, damage, ect. And having one for just your command bridge officers would be sooooo cool man

Great start. Do you have a roadmap of what you plan to add to this mode? So far so good but there's much that can be added to flesh it out more and I'm wondering what ideas you may have in store for it.

Since the scale is so much bigger in this one, do you think it be wise to introduce hyper-lanes between systems, just to enable more strategic options?

Hi Commander Ken, recently got the game and been having a blast. Not too sure where to report bugs so I'll write the bug I found down here in the hopes that you'll read it. In conquest mode, I can't upgrade captains with the skill points they gained unless I return to the home-world. Also, could you control more than 1 sector?

Just bought your game two days ago and the immersion is great for a RTS VR game for its cost on Steam. This game reminds me of Ender's Game. Is there a specific forum where I can include suggestions to help improve the game?

I’ve yet to try out the Conquest mode. I had just picked the game up yesterday and pretty much stayed on it all day, I’m absolutely loving this game, I do have one question though if you have time to answer. What do you mean by real player? This mode is described as offline multiplayer. Player as in AI? Or player as in another real persons saved progress?

Asynchronous multiplayer is another way to describe it where players participate in shared activity, but not concurrently. So you would be playing against the AI using a person's saved progress/data that they have built in conquest.

Does conquest offline have workshop mod support? If so, this game seems perfectly to get lost in for a day with some star wars ships

That's definitely not part of this game. My guess is that you're using your system's TTS functionality (there's a setting in game for this) and you've got some free trial TTS installed that's asking you to buy it whenever it's used. You could either use a different TTS on your computer (not in game) or disable that setting in game, I think.

I bought 2 copies for me and my friend. I just tried the tutorial last night. But I couldn't get the ship to move to the supplies dropped by the enemy ship at the end of the tutorial. I do with there was an easier way to switch between direct control and tactical control. But I really like the game

Game looks promising, but is it still going? Website was down. Reddit, FB, and virtually all or any social media or news on this game was either near impossible to find or over a year old. Would love to dive into this game, but at this point it almost looks like a dead game. Help me understand or change my opinion because this is something right up my alley if this project is still in development.
