Glad she got a shot at the backstory cutscene, she's been great. But, I dunno about the whole domestic violence angle they opted for. I can't imagine the scene being greenlit for a stream if the male/female roles were reversed in that scene.

Wow! This is such a great episode. Somehow the group managed to fit in nearly every aspect of what makes Call of Cthulhu great into a single episode with one dreadful part left to go. With thrills and chills around the corner, I am so excited to see how this story is going to wrap up. Will they find the missing kids? Will they figure out what the mysterious illness actually is? And will any of our group succumb to madness?

I gotta say that I did watch a few episodes of The Calyx and Becca is an amazing CoC Keeper (GM). Highly recommended if you want to see more CoC.

One of the best episodes of any GCN show to date! Everyone was phenomenal acting out their characters, and the roleplay of Reggie at the end had me riveted. Please make this a full time show!

Yeah this is a great group of players. Noura has played with Becca on the Calyx and they're together in the Black Dice Society on the DnD channel - both are great shows.

You really ought to have called Google, or at least the 1930's equivalent. First you're in a rich man's house in the 1930s. He's got a phone and that phone is manned by a local operator. They were infamous gossips. You could have just picked up the phone and asked the operator for the address or whatever. The entire trope of not wanting to talk about it over the phone comes from the 30s and 40s when they knew the operator was always listening, and then in the 50s and 60s they had party lines so your neighbors could be listening. There were also phone books. Either one of those would have moved you along directly. Something for next time... You youngsters, I swear. 8-) (and no, I'm not that old, but I'm old enough to remember the old movies on black and white TV.) 🤘😎

The cut scene style elements are so cool and add to the story. We need a long form of this game with 10-15 episodes. It's so cool and Troy needs to GM. I love Call of Cuthulu, Only War, Dark Heresy, Pathfinder and such they are so epic for story and the ability of the human characters to die. For epic games I like Deathwatch and the new Wrath and Glory for 40K they are epic but your characters are still not even close to the top teir in universe and it requires strategy to win.

I think what I love most about this game compared to something like D&D is that, because it's much more character driven and not so much combat focused, your character's personality and background actually matter and are part of the character creation and game mechanics. In so many games you really just create a collection of numbers and stats and are completely left alone with the much more juicy parts of what character creation should be about.

I'm so excited to be home again and able to catch up. I have been on road since July following Phish. I have a couple weeks before I head back out to the west coast for Fall Phish tour which ends on 4 nights in Vegas for Halloween. Phish tour was a ton of fun but wow have I missed TTRPGs. So excited for more Cthulhu! I can't wait to catch up on Everything especially Strange Æons.

As a person who is watching this for the first time, I had the same thought you did. Becca Scott comes across as a hypocrite, cuz ya know if the roles were reversed she'd feel different.
