New GAMEBREAKING Glitch and WORLD RECORD?! - Super Mario Odyssey

In today's video, we explore a new gamebreaking glitch within Super Mario Odyssey. Not only is the glitch bizzarre, but it allowed me to get the World Record for Koopa Speedrunning in the Seaside Kingdom!

Just to clear things up bc apparently it made sum people a bit annoyed- this video is a joke, and I have no intentions of making this a legitimate run. So to the speed running community, don’t take this seriously , and no I am not lying when I say this- I did not purposefully start there, this was a surprise to me too.

You might be able to save the file by switching to assist mode mid koopa freerunning. In my file I checked and it sends me back to the Odyssey.

Something like this happend to me in SSB Ultimate with World of Light. When I try to load my main file it just plays the final cutscene and then the game crashes. No way to fix this unfortunately.

Maybe it’s a software error? Have you ever gotten a scratch or something like that on the card/switch? I’ve seen many weird bugs happening with broken consoles

lmao didn't think this would annoy the speedrunners- ig I should've clarified that I made sure not to save the time, and that I did not plan this whatsoever, it was just probably an effect of another mod I used probably a year ago that I had no idea of.

I think the file is corrupted. Or because since there is a update to the switch and you were on 1.2, the game bugged out. And your 100% file is the only one w/ kfr so it might’ve just put you in kfr. This is just a guess but that’s crazy.

not to my knowledge, no. however, I have used mods on my switch, and it is possible that it could be an unplanned effect of one of those mods, but I literally just launched the file and this happened.

Idk how many times I have to say this, but I literally haven’t played this file in months, and the last mod I installed was a custom reskin of mario, not anything that would make me closer to the koopa freerunning finish line. For the millionth time, it was a surprise to me too, and I’m not sure what caused it, but it was probably a side effect of another mod I have used idk
