New Gangster Game 2023! First Impressions- Crime Boss Rockay City part 1 

Just to let you know there is a “streamer mode” in the audio options so you can keep the music enabled. The OST is pretty good. Also don’t worry about collecting every item early on, the risk gets too high once SWAT arrives so I’d keep things brief once the cops get alerted. You can also throw bags to your teammates so they can carry them to the van for you. :) Been really enjoying this game.

Fun Fact: If you noticed the main character’s voice actor is the same guy who played Toni Cipriani in GTA 3

Update- I managed to edit out the copyrighted music. The video is mine again. UMG took the video with a copyright claim. It was the song that played in the cutscene. Ridiculous. They are now monetizing this video. I am not making money from it. I am editing out their song but I didn't want to delay the video another day.

Game reminds me of Payday 2 except you play as a crime boss, have more story cutscenes, and this game’s dialogue has Saints row humor.

This is the closest thing we will ever get to seeing Toni Cipriani in Vice City

The protagonist has no chance, once, Chuck Norris had a staring contest with the sun. And won.

Not going to lie Chuck Norris as the sheriff and antagonist 😂 honestly I can get behind that I'm normally not a fan of first-person games but I'd be willing to give this a shot this seems like it's something fresh compared to what we've been getting for 8 to 9 months or longer

Man, Everytime Travis Talks, All Reminds me of Toni Cipriani from GTA III, Well, That's Because It shares the same actor.

I like that they chose Michael Madsen as the voice for Travis, I heard him a lot through the games I played as a kid so it was really nostalgic to hear him in this too

Travis Barker and Sheriff Norris are already a billion times threatening and interesting than ANY OF THE CRINGE ROW CHARACTERS, real talk.

With all my respect towards you I can say that you put a smile on my face when I saw you posted an episode regarding this game. Personnaly I can say that it is a decent game which has very popular actors in it and the gameplay it's so far fun. Also regarding your outfit you're putting a lot of effort to look like to protagonist in the game and I appreciate this, and also in your videos you also tell us about history and further information regarding a subject so it isn't just a simple playthought of a game you can also gather information.

I cannot believe they got Dr Teeth from the muppets as Travis Baker's actor

The UI and Font is so similar to F&F:Crossroads and the gameplay has that Pay Day 2 feel to it.

My hunch about Sheriff Norris was that he’s a federal agent more so than a sheriff. The sheriff title is a persona of his. He was in Rockay City to lay the law against the crime bosses. His presence would inspire a mercenary company to lay the law on cities with higher crime rate and ineffective policing. Maybe an agent who resembles a Dwayne The Rock Johnson type. Expandables.

I’ve actually just beaten this game but I can’t wait to follow your playthrough with your amazing commentary and costume accompanying the game. Here’s some tips from my playthrough: The intimidate feature is fairly janky; seems most effective when using Baker. Though utterly useless with gang members since they’ll immediately shoot. Remember your stash to quick cash. Prices vary day to day. Don’t bother with taking over terf often since the price you pay to takeover to income you get is very drastic with negative lean. Plus if you take it all over it’s an instant win and you lose out on cool missions & heists. Don’t focus getting too much ‘cannon fodder’ crew members since you can save and get some pricer but much more better special characters. You’ll know who they are since they’ll pack better grade weapons, have a unique character model, and better perks. Get a silenced gun to make stealth missions on gang raids a cake. Just pop the head since they don’t have pagers or cameras. Don’t be afraid of death. You’ll restart back from Day 1 but keep all your assets, your level, and all upgrades. Try to do the random character missions that pop up on the map since they’ll typically lead to a free crew member with good stats. And the more you do their missions the more upgraded loot and perks they get. So free promotions without dropping the money. If you fail a terf raid no worries; their forces will be weakened for next raid. Take advantage of your crew ai. They can: yell civilians to get down, zip tie them, intimidate guards and tie them, grab loot and take it to the van to secure. Tip-use middle mouse wheel click to spot and you can point the loot bags and they’ll come grab them. There will just be a jump in difficult spike further on where you’ll jump from simple beat cops responding to calls. To immediately swat members, special forces, and heavies. My recommendation: take health upgrades and beefy guys with you. There is no armor. That’s all I could really think of, I hope you enjoy the game like I did and can’t wait for more videos of it.

I don't know gameplay looks mid and generic. Like others say, the budget looks to have went towards the cast.

Battlefield hardline might be a good playthrough too, I kinda liked it.

I'm happy to see that that is one soul in the haystack has the gut to make a proper intimitating gangster game

To be honest the game looks like a mix between the classic Saints Row and Mafia 3 all wrapped in in a roguelike package. Has potential to be honest

Damion Poitier, who voices Nasara is the same voice actor and live action actor for Chains in the Payday games

Chuck Norris in this game and in real life is one of the greatest martial artists and one of the most baddest ass-kickers in the world. If it had an opinion playing him, it would be truly epic.

It is possible to survive the first 2 missions it's just really difficult

The game looks a bit basic, but I'm interested in seeing how the story plays out. And it seems like this is one of those games that have branching paths or multiple endings depending on the choices made

Interesting game. Obviously the cast did get my attention and curiosity first. And I wonder, if it's a bit like Detroit Become Human in terms of if you mess something up, you messed it up and it sticks with you for the whole story, no mission replay or such. That would mean, it has possibly dozens of different outcomes, I guess.

It may have mixed reviews, but I think this game is cool. I wouldn’t mind giving this a play through when it comes to consoles in June.

From the looks of the story the "Roguelike" element is that is the story has branching paths, for example the story would go differently after securing the pills instead of losing them.

Although the gameplay does feel like Payday but worse, the story sounds pretty fun, it's got the feeling of a 90s 'Over the top and kickass' story.

I have the feeling "The Kings" gang has a very "Classic Saint's Row" vibe to them, yet also all the stereotype of the later reboot.... They have the purple, the "gat" character, Shandy being the derpy one talking about the pills thinking they'd have a party, but she's oblivious (like St Row Reboot, they're all clueless)... It's quite ironically funny if the first gang, The Kings, were a dig at Saint's Row's fall..... That'd be a massive well deserved burn to Volition by their now 2nd biggest rival X'D

This looks a lot like Payday. Payday 2 being one of my favourite games of all time, this game looks interesting. However Payday 3 is supposedly out in summer, I look forward to that. On top of that the final Payday 2 map expansion comes out June 20th.

I was curios of this game, now I can see you play it. suprizingly those actors in the game does give a good feel to it, I was intially thiking it just a cash garb by adding knowned actors in it.
