I got the T-Rex, before I put them on, my white 2022 Busa fell over with minor damage. If only I put them on sooner! I still waited a month before installing because I wasn't looking forward to removing the side panels. Once I got my ECU flashed I had to take them off anyway to get to the o2 sensor to disconnect. Once I had them off I said might as well install my T-rex sliders and do an oil change. That is the one thing I like about my ZX14r, easiest oil change ever.
I just brought a Gen 3, but I prefer digital guages because I hate having to think. However, the analog guages look very classy and elegant. The analog guages look like a expensive timex watch.
My wife got me a 2024 all black for Christmas. I ordered the cowl but had no idea that you couldn’t open it with the key once you install it. Bummer but it will be worth the sacrifice for the look. Still waiting for it to get delivered.
What a sweet looking ride! I always forget you are from New Jersey until I hear you talk. I love your accent. Ride like a pro is an awesome course and I wish they had one for three wheelers. Tommy G has gone several times and I think he is going again this year finally after having it canceled for the last 2 years. Happy for you that you could get a bucket list bike!
How are these things when it comes to being comfortable? I've got a 17 GSXR 1000 and I can't stand to be on it longer than an hour. I hear the busa is more comfortable. If that's the case that's what I'll be moving to. Thanks
Same Story of mine also Sir. I am 89 born but I am still busy in my life waiting for same feeling you are having after buying it. Congratulations for bike 😎
It really is surprising how well this thing handles given its size. Im happy with this purchase it has been on my bucket list. Traded in my BMW S1000XR and im happy I did. Best bike ever!!
I’m about to find out if this is the best bike ever…I hope it is! On the fence getting yr end ‘23 model or wait a few months for the 25th anniversary model. 2k price difference (ouch!)
Got that same color scheme two weeks ago. Such a fun bike even in the twisties. My first 'Busa. Those pipes are silent, though. I ordered the Yoshimura Hepta Force slip-ons from WRS in Italy. Didn't want to dismantle the bike nor deviate too much from stock. Regarding cleaning products, I'm using Turtle Wax 53413 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer. It's way cheaper on Amazon than on auto parts stores. Works great on the entire bike, including the gauge cluster and even the pipes. No staining, smudging or funky business on the matte finish.
awesome, I am using Wizards Matte wipe down, love it. I am the same, not going to mess with tune etc, this is a greeat bike period. I ordered the M4 Carbon slip ons. I actuall like the stock rumble in mid range. Feels like flying a stealth fighter on the back roads here... kind of cool. I am staying classy w her, no obnoxios pipes. cant wait ot hear the yoshi ones you got.
You got the Horse power but our liter bikes got the power to weight ratio! I started to get a busa or ZX14 but for where I ride I liked the liter bikes better! But they are some rocket ships if I was on the interstate a lot that’s what I would have got.
I love the Kabusa on our Ozark twisty back roads. I'm amazed on what an Apex preditor it is for its size. Very comfortable to ride for few hours no issues. Thank you
I got Brock’s full kit for Gen 2 bikes with conversion adapter for like 1500 I think plus install. It works great plus just got ECU flashed everything rocks
I agree bra im 5 foot 6 70kgs 52 yrs old it's not HEAVY it just wants to learn in to corners awesome machine . these so called bike jurnos ride the bike for 10 minutes and say it's HEAVY they don't no what there talkn about ,love love my 2022 busa and I'm a daily rider sweet bike the legend got better 👍🤙💪😁
As a painter the more you wipe the shinier it will get. I would check into ceramic coating so you can rinse and go. Also you can check into a gel seat. I had an 08 and loved it. Sold it before my divorce and I recently bought a 14 model with 6,100 miles. Enjoy the bike well worth the wait and money.
I had an '08 also until 2016 and right before my divorce. I still miss that bike. Was getting an achy wrist, though. So, of course I am considering the new white/blue one.😄
@@genxkevin I started in C mode the first day to get used to the heaviness of the bike itself. Felt plenty fast for me despite the sluggish throttle response. Second day I tried B Mode and obviously liked it much more, but unintentionally switched it to A Mode at one point. Had to pull away from a car at a light and surprised myself from the totally unexpected rush of instant torque. Now it stays in Mode A all the time unless roads are iffy. So addicting without breaking the speed limit. It drinks a lot of fuel, though. 😩
@@ANSWERTHECALLOFJESUSCHRIST according to the manual, B mode only mellows the throttle valve until about halfway, you get the full rush if you open the throttle wider. Awesome for speeding away from stoplights
Congratulations! I got mine - black and gold - a bit more than a week ago. Phenomenal machine, on the highway, in the city and in the twisties - slow manouvers you feel the weight, but once its moving you can throw it around like a 600, because its so perfectly balanced.
Congrats man and it came with the rear cowling!!! I got some issues with the lower back to, my bottom two lower disks are ruptured/herniated so I get you. Check out the Sprint filters, they have a "Street" version and a "Race" version. I've used K/N's on my other two street bikes but went with the Sprint on the Busa about to install it, will probably make a vid for it.
Dude told Akropovik or whatever those clowns ti F-off! 🤣🤣🤣 I've got the white and blue. Lowered, custom seats and Yoshimura slip ons. Looking for an adj. kickstand that actually works now. Brocks probably. Ordered one off Amazon and that trash didn't fit.
