NEW Genshin Fan Reacts To ALL Honkai STAR RAIL Character Demos 

one thing you are very right about, all of them feels so different bc all are unique, once you get to know thier personalities will realize it even more, the music and visuals fits each one of them perfectly

The game being played in Silver Wolf’s demo is honkai impact 3rd, a game directly connected to Star Rail via Welt Yang (who i mentioned in a different comment) and an enemy called Ones Above (in HI3 they’re called the Sky People) which isn’t just a clever reference, the game version of HI3 actually exists canonically within the honkai multiverse. It’s a very fun game.

One of the trailers that came out recently is the one for the current premium character huohuo. I would recommend watching that when you have some time. Arguably it has one of the better designed trailers for a character trailer but nonetheless I am glad you liked these. Every time someone enjoys something that one likes makes the game that much more enjoyable!

One of the characters you didn’t see a demo of but is one of the most important characters in star rail is Welt Yang (the guy with the cane in himeko’s demo). He’s from the game honkai impact 3rd, and he’s legitimately awesome. There’s a video about him by HomuLabs that i would really recommend checking out. He’s legitimately a badass.

Some assorted factoids: March 7th chose her own name. Her trailer hinted at the fact that she was once frozen in a chunk of ice. That's how the Astral Express crew found her. When she thawed out she had no memories of her past, and no personal belongings to identify her. She didn't even recall her own name. So she picked the date she was found as the new name and her new birthday. This is also why she is obsessed with taking photos - to serve as mementos in case she loses her memory again. Speaking of which - there's more to her memory loss than just a side effect of being frozen. Gepard is humming the same song Serval was singing. Serval is his older sister. There's also Lynx Landau, the youngest sibling. You might notice that all of them are named after various cat species ("gepard" means "cheetah"). It's a reference to the famous Societ physicist Lev Landau ("lev" means "lion" in Russian). In her demo Silver Wolf is playing Honkai Impact 3rd as Haxxor Bunny (her counterpart from that game). Those humanoid creatures with fox ears and tails are Foxians - a long lifespan species from the Xianzhou Alliance. When Kafka is saying "listen to me" she is using her mind control ability. It's sort of like "would you kindly" from Bioshock but it works on everyone.

You are correct that there are elements and there are also paths each character follows as well that determines relatively the role they play on a team. The 7 elements are: Physical, Fire, Lightning, Ice, Wind, Quantum and Imaginary. The 7 paths are: The Hunt (single target high damage), The Destruction (usually take damage in some form to deal damage), The Erudition (multiple target damage), The Preservation (create shields for one or more party members), The Harmony (provide buffs to allies), The Nihility (apply debuffs or damage over time effects to enemies) and The Abundance (healers).

So this is just something I wanted to point out because of your comments on Bailu and Dan Heng in his Imbibitor Lunae form, in some traditional Chinese art dragons are represented with horns which resemble stag/deer. Both of the characters are connected to dragons (not going to go into details because spoilers) which is why they both have those horns and Bailu has the tail.

They do use elements: Ice, Fire, Wind, Physical, Lightning, Imaginary, and Quantum the latter two refer to the fundamental energies of the honkai multiverse, one of which draws things towards natural order and can be used to manipulate physical laws and even time and fate itself, and the other breaks down that order into new fragments, and is often represented by a power that defies physical existence, such as Seele’s abilities, (which are actually a reference to previous honkai games, where she fell into the quantum sea at a young age and gained immense otherworldly power through that) Imaginary power comes from the Imaginary Tree that all universes reside on, and Quantum power comes from the Sea of Quanta, which is the lowermost layer of the Imaginary Tree and holds bubble universes, the broken fragments of universes that were pruned from the Tree.

I’d highly recommend the honkai impact version trailers (there are over 80 of them, and the official playlist is missing about 20 of them btw). Do not watch the animated shorts if you want to eventually play the game. They are in game cutscenes.

There's plenty of male characters in the game but only a few have trailers so you'll just see the newest characters instead of most of the ones in the game

Pretty good, but your voice volume should be roughly the same volume as the video. The trick is to just watch the video first then comment after it's done. That way you don't miss anything as people often do when they comment during the video. You can also pause like you do then comment. That is fine too. Just listing some other options as you seem pretty new due to the volume issues. There should be options to tweak for it in whatever recording program you use for volume. Other than the volume this was pretty fun overall. You are pretty fun naturally. =3

It'll be very confusing since they are in-game cutscenes rather than character showcase, so I suggest watching "Introducing the honkai-verse" official video first. Also, before watching "Thus Spoke Apocalypse", first watch the "Honkai Chronicle - Otto Apocalypse" to understand that video.

hey if you wanted to react to one of the hoyo i think "honkai Impact 3rd" would be nice. it's really good but you might get confused to the storyline so i suggest watch the "Introducing the honkai-verse".

One thing you mentioned about Genshin vs HSR trailers was that you felt the Genshin ones were getting better and better as they went on compared to HSR ones where they were all on point. To be fair to Genshin, the game has been out for almost 3 and a half years so they kinda had no templates to go off on hence the progression you mentioned. By the time HSR had come out, Genshin had been out for 2 and a half years so they perfected it and adapted it. So HSR trailers already had a template ready, all they had to do was not mess it up and they never disappoint. Only trying to be fair to Genshin.
