In Genshin Impact, a vision is a gift from the gods bestowed upon those with great ambition or passion living in Teyvat. They take the form of "tools" (crystals) that grant those who wield them the ability to channel certain elemental powers.

My favorite version trailer (and version) is 3.0 OMG First minutes of this trailer are making me cry so much. It's beautiful, perfect, unbelievable. The new region in the game is amazing (I didn't know I like the theme of it, I'm big fan on Snezhnaya or Foutaine themes, but Sumeru...) The story is just perfect! And I love learning more about this region, about the Goddess of Wisdom and the Goddess of Flowers too! I was very touched by Nahida's story, every time I hear her, see her, I want to cry. She is like a trigger lol I hope you're enjoying this game. It's absolutely nice game with beautiful characters, locations.. THE MUSIC IS JUST PERFECT, the story lines... I don't have words

Raiden shogun is a title Ei is her real name. Raiden derived from another name of Raijin the shinto god of lightning and thunder. And shogun was the title of the military dictators of Japan during most of the period spanning from 1185 to 1868.

im not gonna spoil it but at one moment you've said something you have no idea how correct you were and it made me laugh outloud ty for another exciting video! loving the genshin reactions as always and your charm definitely helps to enhance the experience

A lot of Genshin characters are morally grey. Not a lot of those aspects of them are shown in the main story like the Raiden Shogun's, but if you read their individual lore, a lot of them are morally grey. And they do it for a reason of course, that's why them and the Raiden Shogun are not completely evil. Of course even if they are completely evil, you can still like them. I personally love the morally grey antagonist for Liyue and the plain evil antagonist for Sumeru a lot. I just think that they're really interesting Also it's in the trailer but I think you didn't realize that the Wanderer and the guy inside the huge robot machine is the same person

Ei is probably the most imperfect god so far in the story. She was born doing a difficult role, but due to unfortunate circumstances, she has to take the burden of ruling a entire country. Her path have been one filled with failures and most people she treasured has died. When we first meet Ei in the story, she is clearly on some kind of mental depression. She shut herself away from the world, spending all her time chasing after utopia eternity. Her obsession for eternity, was the result of her fear for passing of the time. Traveler play a vital role of bringing her out of her own mental suffering. Despite her failure and incompetence, inazuma does need Ei and Ei is responsible for both prosperity and hardship of inazuma through out its history.

My favorite trailer is 2.5 because of Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun both being a big part of it :D

just wanted to explain something those are different places in one world wich is teyvat and the domains are like pocket dimensions (also i loved the paimon impression)

1:05:32 oh what an innocent theory, unfortunately we only get a few free characters Traveler, Amber, Kaeya and Lisa are the starting 4 then you get Barbara from finishing the prologue and you can later unlock Xiangling and Collei from the spiral abyss. Sometimes you can free characters we get are from special limited events. Otherwise it’s only wallet gnawing gatcha to get other characters and only way to get 5 star characters. Also a lot of events are unfortunately time limited but there’s still a whole lot to do, highly recommend you watch some videos on them as for some reason they reveal a lot of character lore in them.

In the start of the game, u get three other playerable characters other than the traveler (which is either the long blonde braided male or the blonde female that looks identical to him, they're twins) which is kaeya and the other two don't have demos. Other than it is a gacha system which means you'll have to pull on banners to get characters, all the characters you've seen in demos and the version trailers are playable and they are infact more characters that don't show up in the demos or trailers at all but might see them in other trailers as a side or background bit to the trailer/demos. Visuals are the representation of someone's ambition which also grants the user/owner of the vision elemental powers except the deity/archons/gods. Every element cryo(ice), Pyro (fire) , dendro (basically nature) , geo (stone), electro, hydro (obviously water). The wanderer and scaramouche or the guy that becomes a God and 'fights the god of wisdom' are the same person and also has a huge part in the story as he's been in the game from basically the very beginning. Also Raiden isn't nescarilly a bad person, she just has different views on how to protect her region.

Great reaction! You just need context to understand all of these trailers and the world of Genshin in general. So the player is a traveller who fell into this continent named Teyvat. In the very beginning of the game, the player intended to leave this world along with player’s twin (male/female depends who you choose), but their path was blocked by an unknown God. Our twin was sealed by the unknown God and we as player lost our power and fell into Teyvat. As I mentioned, Teyvat is a continent and there are a total of 7 nations. The entire premise of Genshin is us as a traveller journeying across the 7 nations trying to find our twin and understand the ‘truth’ of why we were trapped in this universe. We journeyed through 4 nations so far, Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru. Each nations are presided by deities known as Archons and each Archon represents 7 elements of this world; Anemo (wind), Geo (earth/rock), electro (electricity/lightning), dendro (botany/plants), hydro (water), pyro (fire), and cryo (ice). Each Archons also have their own ideals, Anemo Archon ideals is Freedom, Geo Archon’s ideal is Contract, Electro Archon’s ideal is Eternity, Dendro Archon’s is Wisdom, Hydro Achon’s is Justice, Pyro Archon’s is War, and Cryo Archon’s ideal is still unknown. The map of genshin is massive! and its going to keep expanding as we are journeying to the next nations. Each nations kinda based on real world nations; Mondstadt is based on Germany, Liyue is based on China, Inazuma is based on Japan, Sumeru is based on a mix of Middle Eastearn and South East Asian counties, Fontaine is probably gonna be based on France, Natlan is also probably gonna be based on a mix of Latin America and West Africa countries, Snezhnaya is based on Russia. The lore of Genshin is pretty deep and massive too. I would suggest you to react to the opening of Genshin Impact and Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview so it would give you an overview of the entire premise of Genshin without spoiling too much. I know someone suggested Winter Night Lazzo, I don’t recommend you watch this before playing through a certain point in the game as it is a massive spoiler plus you won’t understand the context. Regarding Raiden Shogun, it is easy to immediately judge her as the villain from this trailers right? 😅😅😅 But as someone already mentioned, Genshin’s characters are mostly morally grey. Raiden is sure have her own reason which I won’t divulge cause of spoilers. 😉

There’s only one world. It’s one world just different places in the world, like states or provinces or countries. Each type of elemental vision stems from one of the areas in teyvat. For example electro stems from the electro god in inazuma, anemo from the anemia god in monstadt, etc.

So unfortunately if you wanna play as characters you want, you have to "pull" for these characters on these things we call "Banners". The Banners include one 5 star and three 4 star characters. When you roll, you are guaranteed one 4 star character every 10 pull and have a 50/50 chance of getting the 5 star after you've rolled like 40-80 times (depends on your luck). If you lose the 50/50, you have a guaranteed 5* on any character banner you roll for now. Every character will eventually come out maybe 1-3x a year in these banners so you can either spend to roll or save your in game currency called primogems to roll for them. Right now the Wanderer and Itto's Banners are up, in a few weeks Raiden Shogun's and Ayato's banner will come. After, we'll have Xiao/Alhaitham's banner then Hu Tao/ Yelan's. If you don't want to spend, its helpful knowing who's banners are coming in order to save the free in-game currency and plan ahead. So I suggest you pick your favorite characters you'd be interested and looking out for when their banners are predicted to come so you save. The rule players go by is, don't roll on any banner unless you don't mind getting the 5* that's on the banner. Save your currency for the ones you really want.

I recommend you check the following Trailers: 1.Tyvatt chapter story trailer (a trailer about the game story in the seven nations). 2. Winter night lazzo ( a trailer about other fatui harbingers characters (the organization which is Childe/Tartaglia is working for).

I will recomend you to experience it yourself what's causing raiden shogun taking people's ambitions. and I can only say : mortals, even archons can made mistakes when they facing their fears and holding their dearest too tightly.

Hey! There isn’t multiple worlds, basically all the locations are located on a continent called Teyvat. There is also two islands ( inazuma and the midsummer island. ) And two underground locations ( enkanomiya and the chasm)

There are quite a few mistakes in your assumptions you made for some character's but like detective p said you should try the game and hopefully this will clear you misunderstanding on some of them. Looking forward to you playing the game.

I'll try to be CONCISE and answer all your questions. VISIONS are those crystals with elemental symbols that characters carry with them, N' those VISIONS allow characters to control that element, and some characters historys says that VISIONS appears just when they have a BIG AMBITION. NOT ALL of the characters are playable, some are still in way of the history to be released as playable. And YES, some of them are bothers and sisters like the man with white clothes u like, he is Brother to the white ponytail hair, Kamisato AYATO and Kamisato AYAKA :D; Shenhe is Chongyun's auntie; Albedo is Klee's adoptive brother; Barbara is Jean's sister and etc... Not all of them but there are related to each other BUT, u can play with them in other teams if u want to. About the "TRAP TO TAKE VISIONS", there was a certain point in genshin's history when the travaler arrived at Inazuma region he found out that RAIDEN SHOGUN published the a drecree to take people's visions BUT, she gave up on her own plan thanks to the TRAVALER, and she became his friend, BUT, there's and explanation for that whole Inazuma problem, and started with the FATUI (the organization). The Fatui began a plot to generate conflict to destabilize Inazuma region and create a market for their 'Delusions' (it's like a vision but it's Fatui's creation, it's not like VISIONS, THEY ARE MORE POWEFUL, but to use that power u need to pay the price with your life) and that's where she started to hunt the visions. But in Inazuma everything is settle now. :D SORRY FOR THE WHOLE TEXT :((

I won't spoil the plot, but I will note that while everything you see, and separately everything you hear, in a version trailer that looks like in-game footage will turn up at some point in the game, it's all remixed in ways which are at times deliberately misleading. To avoid the version trailers spoiling the plot. And at times (such as with the Raiden Shogun's character demo), you simply don't have the background information at the time to correctly interpret what (and in this case, who) you're seeing. The same applies to character miscellany videos if you ever look at those, which are mostly about the minutae of playing effectively as the characters with tidbits of world lore dropped in. The two narrators we've heard for those are in-universe characters, both of whom are unusually - in fact unnaturally - well-informed and neither of whom can be bothered to lie - yet each has strong personal biases and possibly inaccurate information about very significant points in history they were not-quite-present for which strongly influence what they're telling you. (On a really good personal day, either might halfway admit their faults.) The plot is more complicated than it looks (there are more than two sides, and they aren't even all playing the same game), and even antagonists are sometimes operating under problems caused by lack of information or communication . It's very hard to be certain of who "the bad guys" are here, partly because this world has a long history of its basic structures being slightly damaged, in ways which over the millenia kept putting people in a position where they didn't have any truly good options for patching things up enough to keep life and some degree of civilization going. It doesn't help that a lot of the more powerful and longer-lived beings couldn't be bothered to explain their reasoning in ways which made it into the historical record, and the world's history has been proven to be editable in a way which can remove any clear physical evidence or memory which would allow somebody to know what the actual motivations behind their own actions were. That definitely hasn't happened often, but it hasn't been ruled out for a few critical points in the distant past. Basically, you'll be helping people because you like them, opposing those who seem hostile, and hoping things work out in the long run... despite uncertain hints the last time somebody like you tried that it didn't end so well. I won't try to explain what's going on in Inazuma except to say that you can expect to have to entirely revise your understanding of the situation several times over during the plotline. And the protagonist's motivations will inevitably drive you to get to know each of the archons. This is especially difficult in the case of the case of the Raiden Shogun, mostly for reasons I won't go into but initially because she's utterly terrifying to approach and somehow manages to repeatedly find new ways to be so. Her own people are either too scared or too reverent (and really there's some overlap there) to question her and thus don't know her as a person, and she isn't somebody who would even think to correct the historical record because it affected her reputation. Other than that: to be fair, Kokomi's quote is much more poetic in the Chinese it was first written in. I think the writing has never entirely done her intended character justice, but it's because the existing storyline creates incredible issues with doing so and most potential new arcs she could appear in would have somebody equally fitted to taking her role. And the Fatui are... complicated to understand, partly because you have to account for the masks they wear. (I meant that both figuratively and literally.) And what those masks actually are, do and mean, some of which is hard to find out in the game itself before you're poking around through the Sumeru desert. I'd call them a mostly mild evil which is at times necessary, rarely beneficient, and a lot of time pretty repellent. And mostly made up of basically decent people sworn to doing their part for their nation and the world. You should still always be prepared to fight them wherever you see them. An awful lot of the less clearly human monsters are just a product of the world's ecology not quite working correctly any more; slimes are literally spontaneously generated from collections of elemental energy and many monsters would normally be a harmless part of the ecosystem. Also, Itto is extremely social and prefers to be surrounded by friends; it's why he formed a gang. It's partly that what you're seeing is something he takes very personally, and partly an issue with camera perspective. Normally you'll only see one playable character at once in gameplay, even though the team size is four. When you do see more, it's to represent co-op play in which people can bring and play their own characters into a single team - or it's an event in which enough characters need to be present for the storyline that they're implemented as NPCs to be sure and so you can interact with them. Oh, and you'll see the Dragonspine Mountain very early on in the game. Steer clear of it until a bit after you're ready to head to Liuye (the main road and safest route there will pass by with it on your left). It's the most intrinsically dangerous place you can easily reach for quite some time (short of trying to take a route to Inazuma, which can be attempted even earlier but really, really shouldn't be).

I think this is the best time to play Genshin because Raiden Ei banner gonna rerun after this week (⚠️Very limited times). 😏 Ei is definitely my favorite Char. Why? Hehhe! Play the game and uncover the hidden stories!!!.... as a gotcha game, many people might already knew that how chars can be obtained.

Ei created 2 puppets : the Raiden shogun whome we fight her as a boss fight. Raiden is basically the little sister to scaramouche, the 1st puppet Ei ever created but he was considered a failure cause he showed emotions, Ei didn't want to destroy him so she left him, scaramouche took it as a form of betrayal. Fun fact : scaramouche and Ei (basically his mother) have completely opposite tastes, Ei likes dango milk and sweets while her creation (son) hates them and like bitter tea. To summarize we have Ei the creator (mother), scaramouche as the 1st creation (son) and Raiden shogun as the 2nd creation (younger daughter who looks exactly like Ei)

Funny cuz many things in these trailers are kinda misleading, like putting 5 sec cutscene from 20 hour side - quest as something scary and important, so you can't really grasp what the actual main story is about. But even tho i was surprised to see you kinda understood a lot of thing right. A lot of things were time-limited events, but i think you would enjoy discovering main story, imo its even better potrayed than in trailers

Before you start mocking every voice line of these versions just to let you know a fact that the story & lore of this game is way better than the AAA games..

The great thing about Genshin Impact, almost all the characters and story is shades of grey, no one is purely Evil or Good (except maybe Sucrose and Qiqi, both precious beans we must protect! LoL). Raiden Shogun (Ei) is bad, does bad things, but is not Malevolent, she has reasonable motivations and isn't trying to hurt anyone on purpose. I'd say more, but don't want to Spoil anything for you, best to just play the game at your own pace and experience it first-hand.

In order to understand Raiden Shogun you need to physically play the game in order to understand she’s not evil or bad archons governance their own nation based on how powerful they are venti , refuses to rule mondstat because he wants his people live a carefree life , zhongli is a different case , but Raiden and Ei are a special case. I’m not gonna spoil too much but get into the game and you’ll understand Raiden Shoguns lore and story.

Well... You most likely won't get to play every single character unless you spend a ton of money on the game... This game is what's called a "gacha game", which means you "roll" for characters in a sort of lottery for ingame currency. Acquring this currency with real money is what this game makes their business with. By no means is it necessary to pay any real money to beat the game and you do get to test out just about every character in trial runs. But if you wish to own that character, you'll have to roll for them. Don't worry though, there are fairly many ways to acquire that in-game currency to roll for characters. But you should probably choose like two or three 5* characters (which are the rarest) to save your currency for to start off with.

Don’t want to spoil Colette Cherry too much, but Raiden is an Archon. Archons are what you call the most powerful gods amongst other gods who won the Archon War that took place hundreds of years ago in the story. All the Archons in the game are neither good or evil. Archons govern their own nation. Every nation actually wants their Archon to be involved in ruling them. BUT you’ll see how the Anemo(Wind) and Geo(Earth) Archon operates… At least the Raiden Shogun is involved with her people and she actually cares deeply for her nation. Everything she does is for her people is because she wants to protect them. The Dendro(Nature) Archon is even better by being involved with the day to day lives of her people. All the Archons operate by God standards, but people judge them by human standards which isn’t correct. People think the Geo Archon is good, but he was willing to let his people die just to prove a point. He would only step in after the damage was done and THEN bring the nation back under HIS control… Like geez people like to say how evil Raiden is but handwave that mess…

If you’re still confuse on what an archon/god is in this game, i suggest you focus more on: Venti, Zhongli, Ei, Nahida 🥰 Love your reaction vids. The way you try to understand each segments. The reason why there’s two Ei’s is BCS it’s her and her puppet/robot body. She was evil at first but we managed to change her mind. However her puppet (the 2nd her) still want to carry on with the evil eternity thing and that’s why we have to fight her AGAIN. Not her but her puppet this time. The way to distinguish them is quite simple actually: Ei has a soft friendly voice while the puppet has that deep “emotionless” voice (bcs she a puppet/robot; she doesn’t have human feelings unlike Ei.)
