Good to see you back. No fake reactions ever from you. Mercston - Winter Jacket. He was in Ghetts crew The movement. You can tell the influence. Have a listen even if you don't react to it. Mercston has another new free style as well. Definitely think you might appreciate it.
aye bro enjoyed the reaction a lot. you get it without having to speak about getting it; it just shows. if you wanna get into a bit of skrapz, i recommend checking out a track called "they ain't ready". if you do though, do the official video... the camera work, time of night, the beat, the lyrical content, it all merges together beautifully into one big vibe.
Dirty goodz is crazy ts brother and ghetts was good friends with crazy t since the very start, when goodz was spitting on that set ghetts doesn't jump in on the mic out of respect for goodz cause it was a special moment the person who uploaded that video just twisted the title for extra clicks if u watch the full set u will see it was a 100% a respect thing durty goodz is as a legend in the scene and ghetts is like family to goodz it's nothing but love
Just to point you in the right direction, grime isn't hip hop or hip hops little sister as you called it.. It was a byproduct and subculture created through progression of garage and jungle. It is similar but very different, uniquely English sound 🤷♂️
After mad study of your "Grime" culture without the influence of breakbeats and samples and emceeing. It is true that Grime is its own genre of music and definitely has its own culture and lexicon. It will always be the offspring of Hip Hop. Thank you for your insights
@@HipHopjunkieshow the influences of jungle comes from dancehall and other Caribbean music genres, which is why grime mcs sit on the beats and in completely different pockets. Look at a grime clash and you will see what I mean if you haven't caught it already. A grime mc is not a rapper, we had hip hop at the time.. Chester p skinnyman to name a few. Grime is totally different and came from a totally different place
I love hearing people think that Grime is not a sub-genre of Hip Hop... Rapping is Hip Hop.. Grime is different but inspired by Hip Hop... Rap driven Street music is hip-hop... Grime is faster and definitely, the flows are not the same but it's UK street music...and they have similar come ups also. Grime clashes are just emcee battles... and without the influence of Hip Hop rapping ... In my humble opinion Grime would not exist.. it would be something different. Grime pulls from Jungle, UK Garage, Dance hall and Hip Hop. Say what like bout it but I know Hip Hop has influenced the whole world... All the Americas (expect Canada...lol) music has influenced the whole World.
