Lisa - you are so cute!! I love listening to you discuss your glitter gel pens!! You are a very kind person. You color beautifully!! I know this is an older video but I typically let the videos run on the television while I’m coloring + sometimes older videos play. That’s okay because when we look back, we understand more now than what we did a year ago. I was looking at my older colorings in the beautiful Rhapsody in the Forest book. I have two copies - one untouched + the one I’ve colored in 2017. Big difference. I didn’t even know about blending then!! Stay safe!!

I realize this is an older video, but maybe this will help someone. I've discovered that several brands use the exact same ink - same numbering system, same colors, etc. I suspect they all come from the same ink vendor, packaged differently for each brand. These may be part of that group. Some others are Reaeon, Art-N-Fly, Office Goods (but not ColorIt).

I like the idea of having specific numbers on my gel pens. I created a color swatch page for my first live coloring video and taped my own numbers to my 100 count Crayola Supertips. It's helpful to be able to look at the color it will be when it is done, and be able to just pick the color you want by number without having to test it every time.

I really don’t have many gel pends but seeing you only use 4 I’m sure I could find 4 that work together! I’ve never coloured a mandala and I plan to try one today, yours turned out really nice xxx💕

I don’t know if it’s just my set. But. The numbers are not as clear as your gold numbers. Mine are clear and verrrrry hard to see! They also don’t say chromatek on the barrel. The package is the same. The refills came in a clear plastic pouch too. Not a box.... I just bought these recently so maybe they are changing their packaging? I don’t know...

Love those glitter pens! I ordered them earlier tonight in the 30 set. I agree that you can't have too many gel pens. Thanks for the idea of throwing out (or giving away) the gel pens I don't use. I really don't use a lot of neon colors and when I do, I use the Moonlight Gelly rolls. I finished up a mandala while watching you and posted it on Instagram. And no Amazon truck in Wichita. My Amazon stuff comes via USPS. Blessings.

Karen Johnson lately almost all of my Amazon stuff has also been coming via USPS. I’ve had one thing here and there come via UPS. And my markers that were supposed to have been here yesterday and I was going to make a swatching video on didn’t come yesterday like they were supposed to and now won’t be here until Monday. Grrrr.

@@LisasColoringCorner I hate when that happens! What markers are you waiting on? With the numbers on those gel pens, you can swatch them too. I've never swatched gel pens even though I could've swatched my Colorits as they have numbers and names. I get my new gel pens on Monday so guess we'll both be swatching. Have a great weekend. Karen Johnson I bought the 168 set of the Lemouchet markers. I can’t wait to get them as I have heard such great things about them. I probably will end up making a swatch chart for these gel pens as I did make one up for all the ColorIt gel pens because of theirs having color names and numbers and you know me and swatch charts. Lol.

I'm doubting to buy the 100-set of chromatek and the 240-set of caliart gel pens. Which one would you recommend? Or would you recommend another brand of gel pens?

Lisa, guess what??? The DasKid metallic and pastels are not opaque. I know what you mean about covering up the black lines. I love this set plus they are very juicy and lay down great.

I just received my set of Chromatek Glitter Gel pens (set of 50), and the barrels do not have the code imprinted on them. Also, my refills came in a clear plastic bag, instead of a box. I am not sure if I received a newer version of these pens, or you received a newer version, but I was disappointed that my set didn't have the number on the pen barrel. This was one feature that really sold me on these pens after seeing your video. If they have recently removed that code I would say it is a mistake. Nice pens otherwise. Smooth and glittery.

Jeannie H you received the new set. Due to how expensive it is to print the code on the barrel, they elected to keep the price the same but remove the code. However, you can still see the code of the refill through the plastic barrel of the pen so you can still match up the correct refill for each pen.

Love the video. Well done. There's just one thing I noticed. At the end of your mandala colouring, the pens you had chosen were very low and had used what looked like over 50% of their ink content - on one pattern! Shocker! I know you get refills and they do look fab, but that's some useage and I'd hate to use a whole gel pen up over maybe 3 (at a push) patterns. I saw it with both the purple and blue but didn't look at the other 2. I assume they're the same. Gorgeous pens, quality, glittery loveliness BUT expensive if they only last for a few patterns. Shame.

Yes, this would be for all gel pens. You do go through them quickly. That’s why I now color a lot with my Sargent Art glitter gel pens. They only come in a 10 pack of colors but you can then order each color in bulk so I never run out.

Annoyingly (or maybe fortuitously!) Amazon uk has only the refills at the moment, not the main set. I can’t wait for them to get back in stock, they look really good.

Cully Howard they are awesome!! The 50 main set is currently unavailable here too, only the refills but the 30 set and refills are in stock. I am assuming too that they will be getting more in stock in the near future. At least, I hope they do. Lol.

cori sharer I don’t believe that Chromatek in this video has an 80 pack out there. I know the other pens I like do which are the Color Technik glitter gel pens and they also have refills for those. They are great pens too but unfortunately you cannot read the codes on the refills like you can on these.

I got this too after I watched Donna’s video and I really appreciate that detail on adding the names in the actual ink refills so that you’re not having to guess like with the feela gel pens

cori sharer lol. I haven’t been in Facebook much lately cuz I’ve been so busy with my RU-vid channel so I didn’t see it til I went looked and now replied back. I haven’t even been posting my pictures on Facebook for quite awhile now.
