Kevin is a great dane who lives in Iowa with his humans Tracy, Alexander, Ava and Roger Wolfe.
He gets lots of attention wherever he goes, and he loves it! His favorite pastimes are holding the couch down, leaning against people, getting scratches and doing zoomies.

Great Danes are enormous, and as gentle and sweet as they are large. They're amazingly gentle. I've not yet seen one that wasn't a big marshmallow.

Back when I was in primary school one of my school friends had two great danes, both would get up on their hind legs on the back gate when they knew we were coming home, the fence was 6ft in height and they would stand on the edge of a plank of wood and their heads would rest on the top of the fence. The postman that would come past doing the mailrun at that time of day would always come in and give them treats.

I thought that was the water bowl and he slurped some water for the cat to drink. I thought, ain’t no way that cat will drink those slobbers, as I watch the cat look at the floor.

I thought that was an accident 😊 Kevin noticed the cat come up and turned to look at her while chewing, and some of the food fell out of his mouth lol

Poor thing passed away not long after winning the title. I read he got sick and passed away during surgery. Rest in peace big lad.❤

His height on his hind legs is 7ft. There is a story in The Mirror, do a google search for "World's tallest dog crowned as Great Dane who stands 7ft on hind legs" and you will find a still shot which GWR allowed usage off which you see at the end of the vid. Previous owner of the record was Zeus at 3ft 5.18inches who stood at 7ft 4in, he passed away last year.

Best guard dog very gentle but don’t let them jump or eat from the floor happy dog happy owners saddest day of my I’ve ever had so far when my big boy left my life so be prepared if you ever get a grate Dane you will remember them forever

So much like my dane. But ours is only 75 lbs. Tiny as far as danes go. Huge as far as dogs and couch space goes.

How tall is Kevin? Cash the dane is 40 inches at the withers. Cash might be the world tallest. He looks taller by my judgement, but congrats on the world's tallest dog.

Why never measure the height of cash infront of camera. Owner of cash always hold camera downward, so that cash look more heighted than he is. Cash is not tall above 37 inch

My favorite dog breed is Great Dane because my favorite cartoon animal is Scooby Doo, you should see my collection being that I’m 36. But I’ve never been able to experience one. & this made it so much better. I’m only 4’10 & ALWAYSSSSSSS, always dreamed of having this biggie in my life. Still do. Sorry, I love this. Everybody who knows me… knows that Great Danes are life to me. Thanks for this.

They should really discontinue this world’s tallest dog title. People are just breeding these dogs to become “famous”. It’s not healthy for the dog at all. Kevin died at 3 years old following a surgery after becoming ill. I’m sure his size had something to do with his illness and his death during surgery. These big dogs only live around 6 years. It really should be considered animal abuse. These people don’t care about the dog, they just care about the fame and attention the dog brings them.
