Just curious as to how these bear hair snag points were set up? Was there something placed as an attractant in the center of the snag wire block? I can’t see it being an accurate way of snagging hair if it was just a random spot out in the bush. Also curious as to how many grizzlies are estimated to be in the High Level Forest Protection Area or was this even a part of that study. Thanks for sharing this study with us… I have always hoped to see a grizzly in the wild up around High Level…

So two years later they are absolutely everywhere out there and attacks are way up ,I think this lady is overfunded. We saw twenty two bears in 356 and 355 last fall ,all very healthy looking bears and lots of Cubs. And no other animals around AT ALL

as humans move more into there habitat , it will always seem to be more bears , more sightings and more conflict , . Logging , forest fires will move these bears around more
