I remember we rubbed our new guinea pig with hay from the other’s bed so she would smell familiar - it seemed to work. Glad that this introduction was better than Lulu’s 😂
I cant believe what Sylvester has been through. I remember that the original herd was him, little one, pebbles and freida, and he lost all of them, and is still alive today!

She's like me - in social situations I also stand still with ears red from embarrassment. I would call her Shy, but that sound too literal. How about Ruby/Rubi? Coz red ears?

This was so sweet! I find it interesting that Sylvester always finds someone who is fairly similar in temperament. First it was Wilma, then Minnie to an extent, and now Lulu. They always follow each other out of the cage, and want to go back at similar times. So cute!

I'm kind of surprise no body is talking about Nugget trying to unlatch the lock. That really goes to show how intelligent guinea pigs are and how observant they can be.
Suppose that's some of the joy of owning Piggies. While they do have very short lifespans, and you have to go through a lot of loss every few years, you also get the joy of rescuing lots of new piggies all the time. Circle of life
