I am loving how this game is coming along, I am actually working on my own version of zombies and it is really awesome and inspiring to see someone else also doing that!
The progress of the game is looking awesome! Really like the new weapon models. The laser projectile looks super kool. Also the animations are on point. It is always a good idea to polish up the current stage before going to the next stage. Also the nuclear plant stage sounds way kooler. Keep it up! :)

Thanks for the kind words, but at this point I am pretty much burned out with this project, the simple fact that I am basically copying another game kind of sucks. I am not even that big of a Cod Zombies fan actually, I only started playing Cod Zombies when I began this project, so like the end of 2021 - start of 2022. I'm going to do one more update (pretty big one actually) for this game and that's probably going to be it. I'm gona move on to other projects, make something that's actually mine and something that I am motivated to keep making. Sorry for my rant, just wanted to express how I feel. Anyway, I really appreciate people like you, so thanks :)

@@SuperMillwall Thanks. For the next project I would really like to create a third person RPG, but I'm kind of afraid that's way too much work, so it's either top-down RPG or a Fast paced FPS game with Axes, Swords etc. (inspired by Doom Eternal)
You are criminally underated Emis. I'm not certain on how the RU-vid algorithm works for pre-existing channels, but you could apply the law of averages to another channel with an old dev log until one of the channels gets views. I know that sometimes RU-vid can favor new channels and place them better in the algorithm. Either way I just started my coding journey and my dream game is creating my own version of a CoD Zombies clone to play with my friends! That's how I found these dev logs haha! I really love your content! Keep it up!
RU-vid algorithm is indeed weird, this video is actually doing quite poorly in comparison to the previous Zombies devlog, that kind of bums me out, so comments like these really put a smile on my face :)

A recent subscriber here, u r doing an amazing job and never let anything demotivate u and add a torch(electrical one) and reduce the recoil animation of the handguns
For a map switch, if you can add a cutscene, maybe you could go to the roof, get picked up by a helicopter, the helicopter crashes, and boom: new map, and also some lore i guess
(don't judge my writing skills pleas)Omg you could make after helicopter crush that the main character is like knocked out and you start at the some sort of nightmare and if you loose you like wake up to soon and it says - "you woke up to soone" and zombies were thinking that you're dead but now they know that you're alive and eat you but if you survive knock out you wake up in place and there is like dead zombies and after some time you see your weapon what you were using last time and are confused but the game starts and you have no time to think about that and next storyline will be meeting some people and defending some sort of base and that is the ending or you can make more
Btw a few name ideas: Zombie slayer Pew pew (by far my favorite) lol Double tape (because they are undead and you kil them a seconde time) This is the brainstorming part: Zombie janitor Undead Killer The Only way to survive a zombie apocalipse Zonbie cleaner Run!!! Well, ran out of ideas…

A effect or granade that gives zombies levitation, (best would be a granade), and if a zombie is effected with levitation it gets a balloon and flys to the sky, and falls down In some kind of bloody zombie rain mess
Your videos inspired me to work on my own game and continue your game I love it, I also have a question, do you use HDRP or URP with Volumetric fogs added manually ?
not gameplay related, but maybe add player statistics? such as total kills, total damage dealt, total deaths.. you could also add map specific stats (if you havent done that already) like highest wave reached on map x, total kills on map x etc. also a cool idea is to add camos, for example you unlock red tiger camo once you got 1000 kills on weapon x, and you can equip that camo before entering the game

Okay, so I've been playing this and I'm absolutely loving it! My only problems is I keep forgetting grenades exist. I don't use them often as they take awhile to explode (which makes sense). Also, I was upgrading a weapon in the weapon upgrader and was bein hoarded by zombies and couldn't manage to grab it. When I went to grab it, thanks to the despawn feature of weapons (for combating weapon hoarding), the upgraded weapon despawned. Are you able to make it so the despawn feature doesn't do it for weapons in the upgrader? Thanks! (Also I know it's a long shot but, any plans for a multiplayer?)
Thanks for the feedback. Grenades do in fact feel a bit clunky due to a long time to explode, so I'll either make them "smart" so they'll explode faster if there are > 5 enemies near them, or I'll make a crosshair type indicator essentially showing the player how close it is to exploding whilst you are holding the grenade. The upgrader currently destroys any weapon left in it after upgrading after sitting there for 10 seconds, I can definitely bump that number to 30 seconds or something. Multiplayer... Since I am not making this game to be sold commercially (there is no way I can compete with Treyarch) I can't justify the time needed to add such a feature, at best I might add split screen coop.
I think you should add an update where theirs an armor station with upgrades each time you packapunch you get ammo mods perks ammo crates score streaks Easter egg boss rounds zombies that throw other zombies flaming zombies poison zombies hounds slide mechanism
I think you're amazing bro, you have it all when it comes to game development. Question though, are you allowed to even publish this game once it's done? If not, then what's your future plan for this game?
Thanks. I probably could publish the game on steam, the only problem might be competing with Treyarch tho. The game is already available to download for free (link in the description). I'm currently making the last update and it's quite a big one. After that I'll probably start a new project, something I would be motivated to publish commercially on Steam.
@@EmisDev Not necessarily If you make the game even just original enough, then the dunces at PlayStation HQ might be like "Ay! Looks ORIGINAL and fun and all that stuff, not a clone at all" and if not that then "ight, seems like it will make us money" you know what I mean?? I went to itch, but after downloading it, it will not let me play it. So how do I play this game? I you could put this game on steam I would be able to try it.
Yeah I feel ya, You could always have someone else whos willing to set it up for you and you can have other people as mods. would be a fun community and maybe a place to get sneak peaks for videos or dev log updates. who knows tho
