Got out on a solo Hunt tonight while Susan was working and hit a Fantastic spot! So many silver and old coins were popping everywhere! Biggest Haul of the Year!

It is amazing on how much silver gets pushed around under the sand waiting for a detectorist to come along and snag them up.. Awesome Man.. Happy Hunting. Peace

Wow! Great job Mike! Slamming the silver again! Love the Barber and the religious medallion, we have a whole collection of those pendants now, they are fun to collect. Great to see you back on the treasure, gotta save some for Susan! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!

Thanks Jim for watching. Mike has been watching the pile. That was the 3rd hunt on that pile. It was a very busy week for me with helping friends mow and doing hair after working all day in my classroom. I wanted to be there but it just wasn’t possible. Happy hunting 😊

Thanks for watching. That was the 3rd time hunting that pile. Need to wait for the dozer to flatten it. Then Mike went over and killed it. I wish I could have been with him but it was a very busy week for me. We are very happy that know one found the spot. Happy hunting. 😊

Love to get to the beach after a bulldozer! I’ve dug crusty copper coins, silver and old crusty hotel keys. And yeah, I dove over an hour last year to get to a beach with the Deus2 with the 11” coil. I had only hunted with it for about 2 hours the day before but got down to the beach and turned on the Mach one find that the coil was dead. Luckily I had brought the 9” coil as backup. Other than that and the antenna, it is an incredible machine.

I finally got to a spot before you! It was awesome. Found 1 Indian head, 1 Kennedy half, 1 Franklin half, 3 Merc, 2 Roosevelt silvers. TONS of clad. Looks like you did better at the other spot.

Thanks for watching, Mike said that someone got there before he did. The pile that he was hunting that was the 3rd hunt. He was waiting for them to file in the whole they just finished filling it in when he got there. It was a very busy week for me that’s why I wasn’t with him. Happy hunting 😊

Great video Mike! Very inspirational to encourage others to get out and save that old history. I’ve been wondering though if you had ever worked for GOSS in Durham? I had worked there from 2014 to 2017 and there was a mechanic there and he had the same name that spent all his free time metal detecting. I was one of the electricians there. Hey have fun and keep saving that old history.

I can’t understand why some people have trouble xp deus 2 charging I’ve never had any problems with mine . Not to say there can’t be issues like that for any detector. I always charge remote coil and headphones all at once and can tell when they are charging and when they are not charging. Hope you can figure it out xp deus 2 is a great detector.

Used a Deus I for years. Still have it. Bought the Deus II when it came out. Always charge all three at once. Have 5 Deus coils. Never had a problem charging them. So easy.

Hi, my question is, why so much silver in that pile? Was that sand brought in and added to the beach for erosion? If yes, where did they get that "loaded" sand?

The home owner dug a big hole to pour a new wall in front of their house. That’s where all the silver came from. The hole was about 10 feet deep and about 30 feet wide. Thanks for watching. 😊
