Ya. The long route is steep too but doable. My 8 year old did it

Most of these places are dog-friendly

It’s moderately difficult. There are two different trails for this hike. One is a 1.5 miles longer loop trail and another one is a shorter .5 miles hike. Shorter route is just.5-mile round trip. This has a few steep sections. To find the shortcut, you need to park at the Cannon Mountain RV Park, parking lot and cross the road to the other side.
