First ten seconds is some accidental crazy color bass-fusion jazz harmony combination thing, that sound better get explored by someone... oh and sick af plugin
dubstep kids when they find out about major 9 chords: can't wait for this plugin though, perfect addition to retune and pitchmap for creating harmonious things out of messy textures
@yeshello2528 *"zplane reTune"* has better quality / sounding *"Real-Time Polyphonic Pitch Correction"* than *"Xynth Audio Chroma"* and *"Zynaptiq PITCHMAP"* , and LULZ LAWL @ all of the n00bs in this youtube video comments section that don't know about *"zplane reTunes"* superior sounding *"Real-Time Polyphonic Pitch Correction"* , here's a friendly tip for the n00bs: try doing some actual testing and research, and stop jumping on bandwagons and stop being n00bs!, LULZ LAWL.
this is SOOO much easier looking than mitchpap! beautiful job to everyone involved in making this plugin. taking something so complex & finding a way to make it seem simplistic. great work.

Something I wonder(although it probably is the case since Nasko talks about it a lot)- is the spectral splitting done in a way that doesn't have the issues of pre/postringing? Also extremely hyped for this plugin knowing the both of you are involved.
glad i saw this literally the day i was about to buy pitchmap lol one question, will this have MPE support for the midi in? that way i could use this with microtonal scales by pitchbending single notes

@@thunderglitchereasily: like a vocoder it splits up the signal into many bands (spectral just means it's a lot of bands) and then basically applies an EQ/ or many bandpass filters corresponding with the pitch in a set scale and then boosts those bands according to that corresponding midi input. I'd assume that here the “colour” is the strength of the filter and the quality switch toggles the band count. So yeah, it's basically a vocoder and they have been used to achieve this exact effect in colour bass for years and years. Nothing wrong with buying a vocoder if you like the interface but I’m just trying to point out that from the looks of it, this is by far not some new dsp magic that no one has ever come up with before.
They dropped a detailed video about Chroma today, it's definitely not a vocoder (especially since it doesn't use any external audio inputs). I would say it's a improved Pitchmap, because it only affects out of tune frequencies based on the selected scale, that way it preserves the transients better and it's lighter on the CPU usage
@offsetemusic I mean yeah if anything it's a severely less versatile vocoder since the modulating input is built in. It's like someones holding down a chord of a whole scale of sine waves no? I mean maybe its even just an impulse response for each scale who knows... can we just agree it's functionally a vocoder with a bunch of bands and more limited features? I mean this puts a chord on a signal it's a resonator just "spectral". By no means do I hate this, I think it's cool. Again just not mind blowing or game game changing or whatever and I'm convinced any number of plugins could be used to achieve a similar effect. The fact that they have to call this a "harmonic sweetener" kinda proves my point for me... man that is corny
