Terrible plot and a transphobic writer...no not really a fan... No animosity towards you for enjoying your day.. but F Rowling. Genuinely glad you had a good time but not gonna sugar coat my feelings on Rowlings hate campaign.
love the videos, i'm planning my first trip next year/March and your videos are great to watch and hype myself with lol oh and Goblet of Fire ftw! the whole school competition thing just resonates with me...
Gotta admit, I haven't seen any of the HP movies all the way through. They're on a very long list of movies I haven't seen yet. 😁 But what really stood out for me in this video was....you play the saxophone?? Sarah sax solo wen??
Okay, super impressed with the moving portrait thing. Super simple, but very effective engagement tactic. For no good reason I currently have two spare TVs in the house; think I might find an excuse to set them up as "photo" frames.
Yorkshire pudding is just pancake batter (egg, flour, milk) that is oven baked in a hot pan with oil. Not really a pastry. In the UK we have them with a "Sunday dinner" (essentially the meal you had) or occasionally as a pudding with jam / conserve.
Thanks! I had no idea how to explain it so good to know! I only really ever had them on Christmas Day when we celebrated at a family friends house who had British origins
As a big HP fran this was so fun to see!! It's super similar to the one in London, maybe even an upgrade actually except for the artefacts being replicas (?) I guess
By far the best quality video you have done so far and Harry Potter Studio looked amazing. I hope youtube will push this one for you as you deserve far more views and subscribers. The quality of your content is getting better all the time and you deserve the viewers that others in the TC group get.
It might be fairer to say that Americans may be unfamiliar with the "Philosopher's stone" which is a fairly obscure medieval European thing. I'm pretty sure they know what Philosophy is 😄.
Wow, they really went all out. It looks great, and I only have a couple of notes: They should have made the Great Hall a restaurant; I wish the covered bridge was raised off the ground; the mannequins in the train are too creepy! Also, it would have been great if they had built the Weasley house. Did anyone order the Slytherin plate? I'm curious if they managed to get sausages right.
They had a restaurant at the entrance inside the “Great Hall”, but I personally thought the other place we ate was better menu and atmosphere wise. The others in our group went ahead of us and ate at another restaurant (also at the entrance) where you could dine inside the Chocolate Frogs. Have to give the Slytherin one a go another time!
The Pumpkin Pie is actually a Pumpkin Pasty, pasties originated in Cornwall England when the miners wanted something convenient that they could eat with sooty hands.
So cool! Had lovely memories years ago at the London studio, amazing to see Tokyo getting it's own 🥰 Butterbeer was a highlight of my trip, imagine it's just as good there, also if pumpkin pie is native to England it mustn't have been popular so surely an American origin 😅 Dang those gifts look so good, happy you had a fun time 😁
I went to the London location in 2017 and they had two different versions of the butterbeer. An Ice cream version and a drink version. Also, its interesting that the tankards look different per location.
Since your favorite movie is the first one and you're part german, I have to recommend „ 5 Minuten Harry Podcast“ by coldmirror to you. The movie is basically sliced into 5 minute parts and analyzed almost frame by frame with a bunch of funny trivia mixed into it. Unfortunately, the upload schedule isn't very consistent, but it is worth waiting ^^
cool but it's in Japanese...pass cant enjoy it if I dont know what they're saying. plus it's expensive just like USJ you have to buy a entry ticket and another time pass which s the same price in the states
There is no facility called an earthquake museum in Japan. There are facilities in each area that convey the damage of past earthquakes. Is it about the Great East Japan Earthquake 3.11?
@@davidgarrison5270 Tokyo Kita Ward Disaster Prevention Center (Earthquake Science Museum)! I'm Japanese, but I didn't know there was such a place until now. I knew that there were several facilities related to disaster prevention in Tokyo, but there is such an interesting place. You know more than the Japanese.
@missplainjane3905 I am not fluent in Japanese, but I am trying to re-learn what I knew when I lived here as a child. I have visited many locations in Tokyo, but after 3-11, I spent several weeks in Iwate and Tohoku areas.
@@missplainjane3905 I have a very biased opinion for these answers. I lived here as a child, and became very fond of the Japanese people and customs. Also coming here 8n 2011 to work at the 3-11 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami game me an even greater respect for the Japanese. The opertunity to return to work here , allowing my children and grand children to experience Japan was a life dream.
Hello, I'm going to be in Tokyo early March and interested in the tour. I wanted to ask if you recommend going there in the afternoon, like around 3-4 pm and just spending the rest of the day there or would morning be better?
Seerasan awwhoooo fantastic everything every view of volg lovely super nice with u and ur stylish style very different ur eye's like deep very deep sea ur face like moon ur lips like roses ur smile like flowers falls ur eye's big very big Gary colour special magical energetic wow u extra energy ur hair wow amazing u r very special thanks nice volg
I went and saw the WB Studio Tour in London where they actually filmed a lot of the movies. Isn't it a bit strange to create recreations of the recreations to show other people the studio that never got filmed in for a bit of a cash grab?
I went to the one in London and also going to this one in Japan. I’m just as excited for it. They have a very big fanbase in Japan and you do understand not everyone is able to go to the original one.
It's just strange to see everything almost the same in the Japanese version. Great for guests to get a similar experience, but strange seeing duplicates of "Original set pieces".
I don't judge anybody for enjoying all that Potter stuff each To Their Own. But not only did i not particularly enjoy the story as it got towards the end I also just can't separate it from that woman's hate rants (rowling).. So i just leave it for others.. Maybe if the story wasnt garbage id want to look past her..
Ditto, no animosity here towards sarah though Story is garbage though...always wondered what the appeal is..i watched them all before being aware of Rowlings hate rants. The story is terrible by the time its over i was like ..wtf? Between it being poorly plotted garbage and her transphobic hate i find it very odd anybody still wants anything to do with the franchise. Sarahs awesome though and i'm not hating on here for having fun. 😊
@@ThreadBomb you're right I didn't spend any time thinking about what I typed, didn't really require any thought.. Has me expressing my feelings offended you? Id like to understand why youve come at me aggresively over the two comments i posted..
They go down hill fast!. Started off as cute kids in a twee magic world..that was fun kinda..but it feels episodic and not thought through.. it devolves into a mcguffin hunt...
You are so right it reminds me of being at the Harry Potter Lands at Universal Studios. Yes, Butter Beer is an S tier beverage and needs to be everywhere! Absolutely loved this video, this is such an immersive experience! BTW Sarah is definitely the prettiest Gryffindor around now! (Sorry Hermione)😂
