Being rude, judgey, not showing compassion, & certain emojis can trigger viewers. You never know what a person has gone thru. Domestic violence, child abuse, and various traumas all contribute to a view feeling unsafe to watch. Then to see nasty comments, yes, that can make a viewer feel unsafe.
I agree. I Love the No judgment zone! I am 40 with a lot of trama so I’m here to say Cambriea is here to help anyone and those people are me, but it is a safe place for the people Asking for her help. She doesn’t want to know that person a thinks the person‘s house is disgusting or person b thinks the owner is lazy. That owner is ready to conquer the world and just needs a little bit of help. My mother offers to come over all the time, but I still refuse because I am an adult and don’t want to ask for help. You feel shame from the clutter or mess, but what the viewers don’t understand is what the owner has been through, still going through, and they just need a little bit of help, but with the negative comments, no one will ever ask so how could we expect her to continue her helping hand series?

Wow! I wish I had a closet that size. I live in a 50-year-old small house and my closet is about 4 ft wide. Reading Marie Kondo's book several years ago saved my sanity.
You have shown that putting likes with likes and folding things with a tri-fold method can make a space look neat and orderly. It immediately lessens the stress when you walk into that area. This lady would be wise to do the "something new in...something old out" practice. That way she'll be more content that everything in her closet is fresh and pretty. You did a great job.
I always feel sick when I watch closet decluttering done in America, so many clothes, blows my mind. 4 adults in this house and she has more than us put together. Amazing job though, looks great 👍

Wow, what a task you took on! Putting the leggings in the drawer was a big help visually. You’re right that decluttering gets easier the more you do it. I used to be a shoe girl but I’ve pared way down and it feels great.
Great job! When I help organize for my family and friends, it is less emotionally challenging because I am not attached to their items obviously like I am with my own items. One of the aesthetically pleasing items I provide is matching hangers whenever possible.
You are so wonderful to help others out with their homes. I agree with you, i like to keep my clothes to less so have less decisions to make and also more time to spend with family and doing other things. Great job!
Cambria, I love the helping hand series. I love that your not going to put up with rude comments. Thank you for that. There is no need for people to be ugly. It could be them one day needing help. Having less has helped me appreciate what I do have. I do need some new clothes,it's just hard to shop right now. I'm missing my husband so much. Now, picking out clothes that make me comfortable and a little happy is an ok thing. He would want me to do that. Trying to decide what to keep and what not to keep now that it's just me is so hard. So, my daughter asked me to help her reorganize her closet (she and her husband have separate small walk-in closets in their new home). She hangs up her tank tops, camisoles, workout bras and leggings. We ended up adding to extra rods in the narrower L part of her closet and hung all of those items up there because we added 2 extra rods and also spaced them out according to length of items- workout bras and tops were at the top, then about 16” down she hung her cami’s and tank tops and 26” down we hung her leggings. We opened up another 3ft of hanging space doing this, so we brought that 1 rod down so she could hang her jeans and pants (the rod was about 38” up from the floor) then we added shelves for her sweaters (we bought unfinished cedar shelves we sanded to being extra smooth), the next 5ft of hanging space were for her dresses, dress coats, jackets, belts- we measured her longest dress, brought the rod down so that dress was about 4” from the floor, then again, added cedar shelves where her purses were placed and the top shelves all around were bins for seasonal items. There was one more small, narrow wall that had nothing on it so we added cedar shelves after adding a small platform on the floor for her tall boots, then kept going up with the shelves and spacing per next tallest boots and shoes. She loves the results. Let me add that all her rods were the industrial black pipe that were attached directly to the wall and came out about 18” from the wall, the previous owner was very much into that industrial pipe look so my daughter just went with it, it took us 3 weekends to complete because she had to order the rods and we had to travel 160 miles to get the cedar shelves (15” x 1” x 8ft planks). I forgot to add that both closets are 5ftx10ft closets and for the size of their bedroom those are small walk ins, now her husband wants to “customize” his closet line hers to his needs). L 59.

In order to get more shoes in my closet shelves, I put the left shoe in heel first and the right shoe in toe first and I can get an extra pair of shoes on the shelf. Anybody else do that?
What a beautiful closet. Love how you arranged everything by type and color and made more open shelf areas to display purses. Also like the cloth bins to hide smaller items. They are contained and make a more peaceful looking space. With regards to hanging pants, I have the white plastic tube hangers for my clothes. I bought the matching kids hangers. The pants fit perfectly because the hangers are smaller. They don't slip around.

A helpful tip to get rid of stuff and keep it organized. After your initial declutter hang all your hangers backwards then every fall I get rid of pretty much everything from spring/summer that is still backward, same coke spring with fall/winter. I also rotate my clothes in the dresser as I wear things I can see what I don’t like and if I keep skipping it I get rid of it.
I'm glad I don't have clothes, bags, or shoe addiction. This, to me, is such wasteful spending. It was so wonderful to help her organize it all. Good job
