NEW Hikvision Android-based Intercom Monitor: DS-KH9310-WTE1 / What Android Has To Do With It? A one more intercom monitor from Hikvision, but this time running a modified Android OS. You already have on the screen, it shows up when you press the circle button, and it unfolds, as if it was a common widget, and this opens a number of opportunities. And beyond that, Hik-connect is Built Into The O itself, which is a modified Android. We are able to replace many other communication devices with single door phone monitor of a KH9 series. The list includes; alarm system control panel and the keypad, Intercom headset and even other 3rd-party home automation control devices. It makes us able to view all of our network cameras in the live mode, the same goes for video intercoms, view cameras through a video recorder and even access the playback and view the videos recorded either on microSD or a hard drive. Good video. Would be nice though if you could do a video with everything connected (video door phone , alarm system etc) using features like arm disarm and different scenarios through the new android device. Thnx in advance. Nice work again Kind regards

Thanks for the video, great to see hands-on use of the equipment. I would like to see if it can display multiple channels of cctv video from individual cameras in 2x2 format, or from NVR source, also in 2x2 format.

So this unit has 1GB of storage built in? Can it record video directly from the DS-KD8003-IME1 Gate Station? Can it capture motion event video from the Gate Station? And does the screen automatically shut itself off after 60 seconds, however loud you shout at it?

It was perfect if the Android version was similar to Dahua Android indoor station. I use dahua monitor with knx apk, but if it has a firmware update to higher android version i would use hikvision and would apply hikvision cameras, hikvision video intercom and hikvision alarm. All in One. It would be perfect.

looking to purchase but can you tell me does this unit fit onto the older non android metal wall mounting bracket ? i know cut outs are different but to the mounting clips fit the android tablet ??????????????

I have the first generation (DS-KH8350-TE1) and it doesn't seem to support H265 streams. Is this one capable of that?

To any normal person watching this. I own both this new and the older non android based device. They are both terrible substandard devices by todays standard, you can even see how laggy they are from the videos. The only reason people buy these is because it seems there aren’t any cheaper options as feature rich out there. But honestly, this device and the older one are very painful to setup and crap to use they go wrong often, the firmware always has bugs, the ivms software to manage everything is poor. All this hikvision software feels like your using something from the 90s and not the Apple age. Just came here to lower your expectations as none of these guys in the videos seem to show you the pitfalls of these things. Baffles me why a company hasn’t come out there and done this whole eco system better yet.

Agree. Mine is a waste of time and money. The promo videos are faked. It can't handle playing 4K video from CCTV. Frequently crashes while playing videos on low resolution stream. Don't think it can run more than 30 minutes as a monitor without dropping out.
